A little sand never stopped the ships going to the docks...

"This is from a real playthrough in a mission without cheats. Just a LOT of weird building tricks to make a huge sandbar between the dock and the ocean, so naturally, the ship has to climb over it to dock. :-)

Good question, thanks for asking.

I had a big economy, a big population, a BIG ISLAND (actually having made it larger via the teraforming shown) and then I kept playing a long time while the money continued to flow in, rather than trying to win the mission.

Check-out the number of buildings on the minimap, note the date which is now Mach 2020, not the 1960's or so that mission probably began in, and that the population is 1451 and 69% happy. Note that I actually had a bigger island than when the mission started (as shown by the teraformed sandbar shown) which makes it easier to keep traffic and the like flowing smoothly.

On the other hand it's only $12,815,876. In the picture I posted at about the same time as this one, I had over 99 million dollars, but I that was well after the year 2100, so, I have "so little money" here, in because it's "only 2020." :presidente: :steamhappy:

Thanks lipturoc. I made this screen shot about a year ago and didn't realize the in-game date was the same as last month in real life until you commented.

So your right, Corona and the other stuff you mentioned belong on the timeline, the dev's just didn't know that yet.
