This guide is for normal and can be used for Leaderboard.
Starting off grab the 3 stories at the hotel, lease OA(old arnold), Drive to the store and buy

• HP(Hog Pan) sluice box core/extension
  
• HP pump
  
• 4 HP mats
  
• at least 2 buckets for a total of $411.

After setting up the HP at OA starting digging the HP area, as you dig you should be finding a few nuggets, by you should have close to 10oz in nuggets found on your first cleanup. Now you can either keep on digging and finding more nuggets or drive to the blacksmith.

The first gold bar thats smelted is going to be small(if you want a extra $16 you can sell the gold pan and big bowl( dont have the patience using that), drive to the bank sell the tiny gold bar, back to the blacksmith to smelt what you can, sell at bank. After all that you should have around $6k, time to get more stuff.
