Introduction
Hello. This guide covers all of the achievements available in Eryi's Action. Any kind of help in making this guide perfect is greatly appreciated, I will credit anyone who can provide with useful tips.

I have split this guide into three sections. First contains achievements requiring you to die. Second contains achievements requiring you to tempt fate or do something that shortly will force you to die anyway. Third chapter contains information on achievements that will require effort and skill (or cheats) from you in order to get them. Temporary last, fourth section contains achievements I have yet to figure out.

I tried to list the achievements in order of their availability, that is, achievements that you can early in game are in the beginning of each respective section while later achievements are in the end of the section. I apologize for any mishap. Each suitable achievement will be marked for earliest point in game where it can be obtained.
1. Get wrecked Be defeated achievements.
All of the achievements in this section requires you to get killed in one or other fashion.

Metal Dished
Stage: Eryi's House
Each time you star/continue game, there will be one or multiple metal dishes falling from ceiling in the "beginning level". Simply walk forward and allow one to hit you in the head.

Stripped
Stage: 1
At the very beginning of the stage 1, jump over spike trap, avoid bird enemies and jump in between of two sprinklers. Bunch of piranha plants will jump from underground and kill you, stripping Eryi's clothes. You can get that achievement by getting killed by any other plant enemy or spike block.

Hot
Stage: 1
Right before end of first stage there will be little steaming pool/spa. Approach it, avoid frog that will jump out of water, and then jump yourself into it. You may want to throw a sprinkler into water earlier too to get another achievement (Section 2: Sprinkler)

Blocklike
Stage: 2
Progress through the stage until first savepoint. Dispatch enemies and go down the slope (watch out for hidden piranha plants buried at the base of slope). There you will notice lone block stuck in the ceiling. Get underneath and start hitting it with head. Eventually the block will explode, killing you, and unlocking you this achievement.

Fake Block
Stage: 2
Right after block mentioned in previous achievement, there will be another block sticking to the right wall. To get this achievement simply jump onto said block. It will grow spikes, and kill you.

Twinkle, Twinkled
Stage: 2
Progress through the stage until you find green mushroom on the ground. Simply jump onto it to get send flying into the space. Team Rocket style. You can also get this achievement later in stage 7 by jumping on snow house or by entering the pot while there is nothing above you.
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200640198
Burnt
Stage: 3
During second and third phase of fighting the boss, when you are supposed to throw iron ball at the dragon, he will be spewing orange spheres of fire at you. Get hit by one and you are done (for). Alternatively, better idea of getting this achievement is to wait until one of the further levels. You can get hit by any of the fiery ghosts in 5th, 6th and 10th stages to get this achievement as well. In 5th and 10th stage you can also attempt to get "Fire" achievement from this section. Fire spheres from the last boss should work as well, but why would you wait that long?

Fished
Stage: 4
Get killed by just about any fish around this level. They charge at you when you get close to them.

Abducter
Stage: 4
Once you get to the very end of the stage, you will need to enter the pot to leave water area and get to screen with flagpole. Once you are there, re-enter the pot you just exited. You will be transported to... new place full of very friendly frogs.
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=198759354
Fire
Stage: 5
Progress through stage. Shortly after first savepoint and purple block-crushing enemy there will be several "red" fiery ghost shot at you. Attempt to pick one up in mid-air to get this achievement. You will get burnt and die, automatically scoring you "Burnt" achievement as well.

Electrocuted
Stage: 5
At the very place where you meet fiery ghosts for the first time. You can quickly drop to yellow block below to avoid getting killed. Left of that block and slightly below edge of screen there is another enterable pot (you should see top if it). Jump on and enter it to get transported into death trap made out of electrobolts. They'll unavoidably kill you and the achievement will unlock. It's easier to get this achievement in stage 8 where there is plenty of electrobolts, or stage 10 where you will be dying of them trying to reach the gem.

Snowballed
Stage: 7
At the very beginning of the stage, jump over the pit and just stand there until huge snowball will crush and kill you.

Frozen
Stage: 7
At any point of the stage with water around, simply jump into it to get frozen solid and killed.

Snowmanned
Stage: 10
At the 7th floor of the tower there will be "freezing device" standing by the water. Jump onto it to get turned into snowman and killed.

Self-destructed
Stage: Last
Equipment Artie gave you to fight Farta have onboard self-destruct system. When you are already in fight, quickly keep on pressing jump button. Shortly you should blow up and die, unlocking this achievement. Take note that you MUST use dedicated jump key, that is "X" by default and not "up arrow".
2. Impending doom achievements.
Those achievements don't directly require you to die, but they pretty much force you to shoot at your own foot. As a result you are likely to die soon after.

Sprinkler
Stage: 1
Right before spa pool at the end of the level, there will by sprinkler laying on the ground. Pick it up, approach the spa, avoid the frog and throw sprinkler into the spa. Shortly the sprinkler will start to spray hot water, killing you, if you are too close and scoring you another achievement at the same time (Section 1: Hot).

Goal Crusher
Stage: 1
At the very end of first stage there will be bomb waiting by the ending flagpole. Simply pick up the bomb and throw it at the flagpole. Congratulations, you got the achievement. However now you can't finish the level and have to leave the game or kill yourself. Too bad. This can also be done on stage 5 with the bomb sitting over the flagpole at the end of the level.

It's worth noting that this achievement will not unlock if it is enemy destroying the flagpole rather than you yourself. Neither failing the race on stage 6 nor failing the last puzzle of stage 5 (and letting the purple enemy crush the flagpole) will earn you this achievement.

Thanks to QuintSakugarne for this tip.

Birds
Stage: 2
At the beginning of the stage there will be jar spewing out birds and piranha plants. Right next to jar there will be yellow block and in between them enough space to hold NPC. What you need to do is keep on picking up the birds and throwing them into that little space. You must be extra careful to not get eaten by a plant and to not get whacked by bird jumping out of jar. Also look out if you overshoot with bird because ponytail NPC marching on the right side of black will most likely pick up the bird and throw back at you. 9 or so birds confined in that little space will cause the explosion that might kill you if you are too close.

Special thanks to Sierra_Angel for pointing this one out!

Ice Explosion
Stage: 7
Go to section 3 of this guide and read on about "Jewel Collector" on stage 7 achievement. You need to get secret sprinkler. Once you have it, throw it at the "freezing device" so that sprinkler pushes it into water. You might need to throw sprinkler few times before the device falls into water, exploding violently and killing you in the process.

Special thanks to AbyssalSoul for pointing this one out!

Blocklike 2
Stage: 8
Soon after second savepoint in this stage, you will see blue gem on top of screen and a block below with six spike balls rotating around it in line shape. All you need to do is to get underneath, while avoiding spikes, and quickly repeatedly hit the block with your head. After just a few hits the spikeballs will start to rotate much faster, killing you if you don't run away. You get achievement regardless if you die or not as long as you hit the block enough times.

Spikes
Stage: 10
At the 3rd floor of the tower you'll be presented with small maze made out of blocks and slowly progressing wall-of-spikeballs from left side of screen. Once you're there, quickly climb to the top of the blocky construction and wait for the spikewall get close to you. When it will be about to hit you, jump over it (you can go off-screen during the jump). This should earn you the achievement. If not, then wait until the spikewall moves to right and disappears off from screen. Now you need to drop back to start of this screen (where the vine ladder is). This however will trigger the spikewall to quickly retract and unless you start climbing up the very split of second you touch the ground it will kill you. Regardless, the achievement should be unlocked by this far.

Electrobolt
Stage: 10
This achievement seems to be a bit inconsistent. It's related by doing something about electrobolts during 10th stage and/or getting killed by them. Some people claim to get this unlocked on the 2nd floor of the tower by getting killed by the electrobolt. Myself however I unlocked this achievement on 6th floor with "invisible maze" by getting killed by wall of electrobolts but not until I grabbed the blue gem and actually got killed off-screen. My guess is that you need to be as high on the screen as you can only manage to and then get killed by the electrobolts.

Thanks to ♡βυмρίηнο for confirmation that "getting killed off the screen" earns this achievement too.

As of 3rd December 2013 and all thanks to Finexen who helped me to confirm this, I can say that point of this achievement is most likely to survive the first wave of electrobolts and then trigger (and inevitably get killed by) the second one. To do this, as soon as you enter the 6th floor of the tower go right, hug the edge of screen and then wait. First wave of electrobolts has "fake" zones at the very edges of the screen that will not kill you. Once first wave is gone, second one will arise and quickly kill you. This happening with no doubt should unlock you this achievement.

You can also survive "in between" electrobolts as their hitboxes are small enough to let you squeeze between two without getting killed.
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=423209756 Special thanks to shiro for pointing this one out!

Hidden Floor
Stage: 10
On the very last floor of the tower (the one with flagpole) there is a hidden block left of fake star block. And over this hidden one, there is another (also hidden) star block that will tell you the secret code. To earn this achievement, you need to jump on top of the secret star block and then jump up off-screen. This will teleport you to hidden gauntlet-trap room. The death is inevitable but you can try your skill in surviving for as long as you can.

3. "Effort" requiring achievements.
And finally, those achievements require you to "win" at something or show how good and skilful at this game you are.

Stage 0
Stage: title screen
While on the title screen, you have to input following "secret code": up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right, grab, action. Mind that, by "grab" button you are intended to press (by default) "C" key and not "down" key. Likewise "action" button is "accept" button, which is "Z" by default. With default key settings the password should be: up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right, C, Z.
When you enter this password correctly, you'll be then transported to the stage you've seen playing in the background of the title screen on autopilot. Now you have to beat it yourself. Level itself is relatively short however floor is lava. Jump a lot and never stand still in one place. If you are having troubles beating it, watch the autopilot breezing through it while on title screen.

Special thanks to Sobol14 for pointing this one out!

Challenger
Stage: 3
You have to beat the third phase of the boss by taking the hard way. That is, by actually staying on the left side of screen and dodging all of his bullet-hell tier attacks rather than hiding behind his back and simply waiting out.

It's worth nothing that there is a very easy strategy of surviving that phase of the boss with no effort at all. Once you get to this phase, look at the ground and notice that there are several light and dark "stones" underground. Position yourself over top left white one (look at the screenshot below) and don't move at all. To survive the attacks you ONLY need to make low jumps over bottom incoming spikeballs, top and "jumping" spikeballs will all avoid you. This way you can earn this achievement so easily it almost feels like cheating.

Huge thanks to Finexen for this strategy!

Swimmer
Stage: 4
Proceed through the stage until you encounter first purple-spike-bursting enemy. Approach him to trigger his attack, and then avoid getting killed by his spikes. Area on the right of your current location, and above the set of spikes, has incredibly strong downward current. If you just swim into it, you will be pushed down and killed. You are supposed to drop down and avoid this section by going off-screen. However, to get this achievement you must get past this section throughout the strong current. To do this, once the purple enemy is gone, and once there are no fishes on the screen, move as far to left and bottom as you can (don't retreat to section with spikes though) and then press and hold to right and up. If done correctly you should gain just enough momentum to push through area with current and get on the other side. If you get pushed down and killed again, try to adjust your "starting" position before you charge forward.
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=246987501 Here or a little bit lower is good place to start the "charge" to right and top.

Fast
Stage: 6
You have to win the race as fast as possible. Basically, throughout whole race you have to keep "right" button presses and you can't stop, hold, or retreat even for a second. While it may look rather difficult, there is easy trick to do it. As soon as race starts, press right, fly over the robot and then drop to the bottom of visible stage and go off-screen. You can stay below the stage for almost entirety of the race and still stay alive. There is just enough space to stay completely off-screen and still be alive. Don't go too low or you will die. Only part you need to rise from below of the screen is part with two sets of multiple horizontal "platforms" moving down and up the screen. Staying below the screen will most likely kill you, so you need to rise and avoid them in visible part of screen (watch out for second set of spikes as they speed up as you go past them). As soon as you are past that, drop below again and push forward. Tip: your hitbox is considerably smaller than your sprite. Propeller of the flying device Eryi is using is not part of the hitbox so you can easily use it to indicate how low you are and maintain correct flight height. You can "hit" obstacles with the propeller without harm.

Special Attack
Stage: 9
As soon as you gain control of the game, input secret code: up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right, grab, action. If you do it with "default" cursor position, Eryi will be issued with "attack" command that will deal 9999 damage to the boss, ending the fight instantly. Merely inputting the code unlocks achievement, you can cancel the command and still beat the boss legit way.

Special thanks to Sobol14 for pointing this one out!

Jewel Collector
Stages: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10
Throughout entire game you can collect seven blue gems. One for each non-boss level. They are located mostly in plain sight, however getting to them is often quite troublesome. Here's how to get all of them:

Stage 1
Gem is located in the air, out of your reach, short bit after place with two sawmills. If you try to jump onto the platform left of the gem you will be killed. To get the gem you need to bring a sprinkler with you. You can either pick up second sprinkler at the beginning of the level and then proceed normally (however you can't die or you'll have to backtrack) or you can get the sprinkler from end of the level and then backtrack to gem. Simply drop sprinkler onto the ground and use it to jump up to the gem.

Stage 2
Gem is located in the air after the ending flagpole. When you get to place with green mushroom, hit yellow block from underneath to get red mushroom, pick it up, and then thrown onto the spikes ahead. Pick green mushroom, jump onto the red one to get up onto the platform, and drop the green one. Jump down back to the red mushroom and pick it up as you are bouncing off it. (With good timing you can bounce off the mushroom and pick it up. With bad timing you may not pick up the mushroom at all or pick it up before bounding off, which in this situation will kill you). Move forward with red mushroom. While it's not necessary, you may want to deflect spikeball thrown by ponytail NPC. Stand on top of the ledge left of yellow block and throw red mushroom so that it lands on top of the block. Backtrack and pick up green mushroom. Move forward to red mushroom and bounce yourself off it and jump over the flagpole, shielding yourself from spikeballs with green mushroom. If you accidentally hit the flagpole, quickly hit spacebar and pick "Give up & start over" option, you'll respawn at last savepoint. Once you are on the right side of flagpole, get rid of green mushroom (throw it to left) and jump onto the block and then up to the gem. Do not hold the green mushroom or you will destroy the gem.

Stage 4
Gem is located below the ground at the very end of water section of this level. Once you get to the area with purple enemy and pot, quickly move to the right and hide behind the ledge to cover yourself from shot spikes. Watch out to not go too high or else plate of spikes will come from ceiling and kill you. Once purple spikes are gone, carefully approach the blue waterplants on the right. Fish will pop out of them and try to hit you. Avoid it. Once the fish swims away, move to the plant and swim down, you will go through the floor and you can pick up the gem. If you haven't triggered the spike plate you can still finish the level normally.

Stage 5
Gem is located right above the second savepoint up in the air. To get it, jump on the lever triggering the platform-lift on the right so that it will rise. Simply jump onto it while it's rising, position yourself on the right side of it, and start running left when platform almost reaches top of the screen. If you time your jump correctly you should get the gem with no troubles.

Alternate way submitted by kmyc89:
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=209202441 Ignore the crystal at first then get back here after getting mushroom.

Stage 7
Gem is located high in the air after first savepoint and just over second "freezing device" you can encounter in this level. To get it, jump to the right of the freezing device onto yellow blocks and then up to the right orange block. While standing there, jump straight upward and sprinkler will come down for you. Pick it up and backtrack to the area with gem. Place sprinkler on the ground and use it to fly up to gem.

Alternate and a bit harder way submitted by lainverse:
1. In place where you have to double-jump with mushroom do it but pick it up during the second jump to double jump with it.
2. Don't save (or you will have to start all over again to do it this way).
3. Go across the water normal way.
4. Drop mushroom on the ice machine.
Now jump, it will throw you high enough to catch the gem.

Stage 8
Soon after second savepoint in this stage, you will see blue gem on a platform on top of the screen. Ignore it for now and move on. Catch one of the blue flying ghosts. Get past the rising platform and avoid purple enemy by standing on edge of floor and jumping over him as he charges at you. There are few invisible blocks hanging over platform you are standing on, jump to trigger all of them and then jump on top of them. Once you're there, "throw" the ghost you are holding to the left and jump onto it and push to the left to get bumped off the screen and on top of ceiling. From there keep on walking to the left until you drop down to the platform with gem.

Alternate and a bit harder way submitted by lainverse:
1. Catch ghost.
2. Stand on the right side before gap and platform. Look to the left.
3. Jump and throw ghost.
4. Immediately run and jump on top of the block with spinning mines
(that one which triggers Blocklike 2).
5. Jump on top of thrown ghost and to the gem.

Another alternate and even harder way, also submitted by lainverse:
1. Jump to the pink guy. He will rush and ghost above will spawn.
2. Jump over the pink guy and on his head to jump back across the gap.
3. Now use Blocklike 2 block to jump on the approaching ghost and to the gem.
You will have to die to finish the level after pulling this off, though.

Stage 10
Gem is located within invisible maze on the 6th floor of the tower. Since that place is considerably confusing to navigate I made a map.
To get to the gem you have to jump off-screen over the topmost block and go right. Also take note that by standing rightmost or leftmost of the screen you can survive first wave or electrobolts. However there will be next double wave soon after the first one and this is unavoidable as far as I know.

Game Cleared
Stage: Final
Simply beat the game. Automatically acquired after you beat Farta and get back the melon.

Gamer
Stage: EX Start
Once you get all of the blue gems in all stages (you'll get the "Jewel Collector" by doing that) there will be "EX Start" unlocked at the title screen. Basically, this is the very same game you just beaten, however, far more harder. First of all, no saves. Secondly, you can only die 30 times and then you game over. And lastly, the game is considerably harder. There is more enemies around places and there is new secret boss after Farta fight.

Super Player
Stage: EX Start
Same as previous achievement except you cannot die even once! Please accept my heartfelt condolences on all of the keyboards/gamepads you will break while trying to get this achievement...

Getting all other achievements is an achievement in itself I'd say, haha. You're welcome, and thank you, the same to you. :fhappy:

I'm sorry to hear that, but at the same time I understand you. That is quite a challenge. Especially the "Super Player" one.

And to the person from over 2 years ago: I'm so sorry, I never got notified of your message. And as for your question, truth to be told I'm not sure I knew this game had "God Mode". How does one activate it? I'm quite curious to test it for myself if this would work with "Super Player" achievement. Though I kind of doubt it will.

i gave up on trying to get the ex mode achievments.

Can you use "Godmode" to get Super Player instead?

Didn't know there was a secret sprinkler on stage 7, I got the gem by doing one of those jumps off a thrown bird. No chance I'd figure that out without a guide. Thanks.

For the Electrobolt achievement, although you can squeeze through the 1st wave of electrobolt to survive, a 2nd wave immediately comes up which you will not be able to outrun it.
