Ironsight Major Troubleshooting Guide

This guide is ment to help you with the most commen issues in Ironsight. If you have any issues which are not listed in here feel free to contact me. This guide is WIP.

Launcher Issues
1. White screen

The launcher uses Internet Explorer to display the interface. Sometimes wrong settings can show you a white display. Try resetting your internet explorer settings first.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools (Gear icon)
  3. Choose Internet options
  4. Switch to Advanced tab
  5. Click on Reset

If this doesn’t work, continue with the following steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools (Gear icon)
  3. Internet Option
  4. Advanced
  5. Security Section
  6. Enable Use TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, TLS 1.2 Use SSL 3.0
  7. Apply
  8. Ok


2. Stuck at loading screen

This can have many causes, therefore we need to check some stuff step by step.


1. If you use a VPN, turn it off.
2. Restart your router

This most likely helps to resolve the issue, if the issue persists, please forward the following ports in your firewall: 20111, 28000, 28101, 28201.

If the issue still persist, please run a speed test. A low bandwidth can also cause issues launching the game. Also try to connect to another gameserver and visit the discord for any major announcement regarding server issues, maintenances etc. https://discord.gg/Ironsight


3. Game stuck at verifying agent credentials

This issue mostly happens if you use an aeria account which has not been verified yet.
Check your email inbox for any missed email verification for this specific aeria account.


4. Game doesn’t launch after verifying agent credentials

The game seems to be blocked by any other software on your PC. If you use an antivirus software on your PC, please allow an exception for the game.

The most reported Software so far is BitDefender.

Some may need to add the exception in the advanced threat defence.


5. Ironsight update patch start failed (legacy only)

1. Download the game files through the alternative download link: http://client.downloader.gamigo.com/manualClient/Ironsight.zip
2. Extract files from the .zip archive with the File Explorer Extractor or an external tool such as 7zip or Winrar.
3. Run as administrator launcher.exe (right click > Run as administrator)
4. Enjoy!


6. Dll Error - “.dll is missing from your computer”

  1. Make sure the latest windows version is installed on your PC.
  2. Open cmd as administrator.
  3. Type in ‘sfc /scannow’

If all the above doesn’t help, try using google to get some individual assistance. This is not an issue with Ironsight itself but Windows.


7. EAC issues

7.1 Start service failed 1058

  1. Press WIN + R
  2. Type ‘service.msc’
  3. Enable the automatic startup for easyanticheat
  4. Reboot your PC
In-Game Issues
Server disconnect

This issue happens due to an unstable connection. Either you or the servers struggle to keep up the connection.
Make sure that you are not throttled by your ISP due to any limitations in your contract.
A lowered bandwidth or higher latency can lead to package loss and therefore an unstable connection.

If you don’t have any limitations and are not throttled, try restarting your router once.
If the issue persists, please forward the following ports in your firewall: 20111, 28000, 28101, 28201.

If the issue continues now there might be an issue with either your ISP or the game servers themselves. Check out the discord for any major announcement regarding server issues, maintenances etc. https://discord.gg/Ironsight

You can try changing to another server. You can pick the servers in the launcher menu.

I haven’t received my reward(s)

Banned

Your account has been banned by EAC (Easy Anti Cheat). Please contact the EAC Support in this case to appeal for this ban.

Payment Issues
My AP display as "Inactive" "-2" or "-1" / I haven’t received my AP yet

There is no need to be alarmed by this, as your points will be available shortly after the process is completed. This simply means that your account is going through a wait period for security reasons. It will not affect any amount of AP you have purchased or will purchase in the future, and should not affect your ability to continue to play. If your hold does not disappear after 40 minutes, please contact the Billing department for further assistance.
Before contacting a member of the Billing department, please make sure that you have ALL of the following:

  • Aeria Games Account ID (not in-game character name)
  • Payment Method used to purchase
  • Transaction or Receipt ID
  • Date and amount of purchase

When submitting a ticket, please include as much information as you can regarding the issue. Please do not reply to the ticket while you are waiting for a reply from the support team, as replying to a ticket after it has been submitted will move it to the end of the line.

Please allow up to 24 hours for the team to review your ticket. Due to the high volume of tickets, please do not submit more than one ticket as it will clutter the system.

Can you check in your windows setting is mouse acceleration is active. I would suggest to deactivate it.

sorry, it is mostly every time i use m&k the lag is so intense that it makes the game unplayable.
i have had this pc for only 5 days so i know its not my issue on something i did wrong. i hope anyway. controller is almost ashamed to say i am not used to.

how about something that dont make your mouse lag down the game.
this is the only game my computer wont play proper
