Epinel

Epinel is an aerial grappler who can combo opponents high into the air. Inheriting knowledge of the Rock Wall's foundations, he is sought by those who would use his secrets for their own causes. Wielding power over inertia, he is able to raise gravity-defying platforms and lock down his foes' movements.


N-Special - Abate

• A high-damage combo attack that hits up to three times. Becomes an instant reversal when used up close.

F-Special - Deadlock

• A powerful armored attack. Epinel lunges and stops on a dime, focusing power to a single point.

D-Special (Ground) - Dormant Rise

• Epinel creates a floating platform. Breaking the platform releases its stored Inertia, trapping opponents.

D-Special (Air) - Latent Fall

• Epinel grabs an opponent from the sky and returns them to the earth. Power scales with fall distance.

U-Special - Deliberate

• Epinel inflicts Inertia upon himself to hover for a short time. Stacks with U-Air, D-Air and D-Special for a higher recovery.

Unique

• Epinel's Back-Air attack has different effects depending on whether the button is tapped or held.
  
• His 'stabbing' attacks (F-Tilt, B-Air, F-Special, U-Strong) have an Inertia-inflicting sweetspot at the base of his arm.
