You need to take the mouse in the Hand.
After that u must click the left mouse button !
Now the weapon should shoot.

You put your hand over the touchpad and than u can click with one finger (index finger) in the bottom left conrner :)

This, in my opinion, needs a major nerf, and at the very least a rework, this is honestly so annoying and i hate seeing this in the crucible and pve
