At the end of the final attack there were some troops alive that didn't want to advance. I sent some crossbowmen and after killing some of them they retreated and the mission ended.

oO that did work? every time I lost 0 units in this mission it would not end (went on for 1 hour past last attack before I quit. the announcer even told me I beat the wave). Thought it was bugged on not lousing any unit.
camped waypoints with trebs and a lot of cows. made no other unit but builders and trebs.

Unfortunately no, but basically all I did was puting the keep as near to the signpost as possible and fill it with crossbowmen :p
