The credibility and notes
I am above 350 hours played and have indeed made these moves myself I know of the possible dangers of me speaking about it, but after thinking about it I decided why not make a guide on it and PLEASE DO NOT PUT ME UP TO THE STAKE ABOUT IT I am making this for some of the more "controversial players" or the people who want to test the boundaries of the rules of the game as such let this guide begin
The don'ts of claiming prince
1. do not claim PUBLICALLY it is sure to get the actual princes attention or will get you in more trouble than say if you whisper that info
2. Do not claim to king as a "prince" it is a dangerous game and there is no benefit EXCEPT FOR GETTING "guards"
3. Be very aware of nobles or aristocrats as they can see your whispers ruin your plan very early
4. not know who you are claiming to if you claim to prince you are prince he will jail and inevitably exe you UNLESS you have a REALLY convincing claim or reason
5. not alert prince the prince if jailed whatever you do, Make sure the prince know you are claiming prince in whispers that way especially if BD then again that is up to you to figure out

the big thing is that you will only whisper being prince

With all of this out of the way lets get to who "would be crazy enough to even think about claiming prince"
Who would be "crazy enough to do it?"
Now this is about who could do it but really there are no real boundaries as to who could do it however there are classes that can do it far better than others
Also if you are asked to jail someone in a non-public setting such as a whisper then you may get caught
Another thing if you find a jailed you can put it down in your will that you "jailed that person" however be careful as perhaps after "everyone" reads it you may be asked to show ALL your logs

top tier classes to claim as prince

Butler- butler can easily come off as a prince given the right circumstances and can fool many of being a prince the best part is they can "defend themselves" although even with this "defense capable" you are not immune to direct attacks that are occ immune or sorc bombs and if you ever do get caught have an easy capability to prove you are not a "fool" another thing is that it is uncommon for prince to jail butler claims as it often beneficial to not jail butlers however beware of cult games otherwise your "confirmation " is in serious danger as they could conclude you are an invoker

Hunter- you already know this he is best able to defend themselves in fact they kill evils outright with their defense of bearing however are not as easily "confirmable" as they can be fake claims for assassin or cult leader

Runner ups

chronomancer- it is simply much riskier also it is often an evil's claim and worse is harder to prove when there is a phys also doesn't fit claim result and is only capable of "defense" through PDs however is a bit more flexible than phys with what actions can be taken

Phys- almost same case with chronomancer just more capable of proving self if bleeds happen, but less flexible at night

Drunk- effectively a weaker version of butler but just as provable but no defense capabilities through occ or redirect unless sure of who is evil

ETC. that may do it but have the highest risk

sheriffs- there is nothing that can easily prove them innocent
paladins- same case with sheriff
princess- can be useful to avoid the prince when getting claims ,but it is risky

all of these can have high rewards but can easily be among the most risky

You will notice that some classes did not come here that is because some classes should NEVER claim prince such as an evil role you also may start being put up in the spotlight last thing you want when you are an assassin or cl or other evil roles

So here is the basic criteria on what is used to judge which class is best

if caught capability of proving self
bargaining power with prince
invest results
flexibility
immunity to occ or redirect

Why claim prince in the first place
There are many reasons why a person other than prince would claim prince this is the #1 reason

TO DEFEND THE PRINCE!

Basically if you are Bd claiming prince you are claiming you are defending them though there are other possible motives that may drive you such as if you are an investigative role you are trying to get claims or maybe you are just a fool whatever the reason it may be

However i will not make an evils claim guide on claiming prince as it will result in many more experiments that i may wound up getting the axed by the developers for making such a "throwy" move also that is up to you to decide for yourself

or; as an evil 1 for 1 trade, to bait protection on yourself leaving prince defenseless.
