The Drake Interplanetary corporation is a company that designs, manufacturers and sells spaceships in the Star Citizen universe. Their ships have a characteristic robust and geometrical design with a lot of low-tech materials. Drake's target group also includes militias and pirates. The formers CEOs Jan and Jon Dredge cultivated the outlaw image from the beginning of the company, which raised controversies about Drake's responsibility for pirate-related crimes.
