Conlusion
Stages in WRC 4 are suspect to many moments of deja vu. Those of us who played WRC 3 will have even more deja vu, as layouts in 8 of the 13 countries are unchanged. 4 of the new maps replaced old Y-Shaped stages, leaving only two of these designs behind. The Y maps are the worst for deja vu, as in 6 stages you'll always repeat each unique stretch 4 times (including in reverse).

We can see that all 5 of the new maps used the closed loop layout, but added a few alternate routes to add variety. Unfortuntaely these alternate sections were very short, maybe 300-500m at most. It is unfortunate they didn't try to add more with the alternate routes.

Most of the closed loops around 7-9 km in length. We estimate each world is about 3km by 3km.

Nie przypuszczałem że ta gra tak wciągnie. Jest genialna. Uszkodzenia auta, tekstury czy chociażby różnorodność map.

Then there is also WRC Powerslide using these maps. They make their games very cost-effective, that's for sure. :)

Any one noticed that a lot of the sections seems to be reused across different maps? Albeit, textured differently or have different weather? There's a LOT of deja vu among the stages.

if theyed have only used super detailed textures in the areas near the stages, maybe would have given them more room for longer stages

Just took screenshots of the maps in game of all 6 stages (of each location) and than did overlays in Photoshop matching up all the identical parts.

@djfil007 How to get this?

@triggsim. I understand that they wouldn't change year to year. But real WRC runs any one stage maybe once or twice (rarely three times) times in any event. In the game, essentially the same stage is ran 6 times, just in slightly different configurations. I understand they can't create 100+ km of unique stage for each event, but there has to be a better way than what they currently do.
