I made this one for myself as I like small agile groups as well as established towns. It has a few changes/additions to help the lone hunter or small group.

* Craftable from the start, these avoid the need for town bought materials. You can make the essentials from animal skin, but some still need you to go to a town:
- Animal Skin Shelter
- Hunters Camp Bed
- Hunters Camp Fire (to cook a number of food items from animal drops/fishing)
- Hunters Camp Food Store (to store the cooked stuff above)
- Fishing Net
- Fish Drying Rack
- Fish Smoking Rack
- Hunter's Camp Stool
* Fishing with a net is possible from the start
* Animal taming. Still undecided whether this is worthwhile as so many mods already do this. Feedback welcome as to whether to keep or remove
* Reduced the size of the Boneyard Wolf so they don't get stuck on terrain quite so much, should you decide to tame or buy one. Happy to consider doing this for other creatures, within reason.
* Hunter's clothing. Some gear with stats to assist with hunting, such as perception, crossbow skill, precision.

Suggestions welcome!

* May not play kindly with other mods that do similar things, though I've not seen any issues yet

* Existing models with enhanced stats at the moment, I may change colour/mesh at some point.

@Morale-10 - There might not be dialogue for the dogs added in the mod you mention, so they might not be tameable. That's probably the only issue I can see. Give it a go and feedback if you run into anything.

I was looking at Simple Fishing but this mod seems way better.

Just wanna ask if there are any problem with me having both of these mods More Dogs - Dog Metabolism - Footprintsize Patch because that reduces their size beside many other changes.
Cannot test it for myself if ANYONE could help me :p

@victor1957 - I've not seen this before. The hunters camp beds are basically the same as sleeping bags, just requiring different more freely available materials, so I don't know what would cause this. Do you have any other mods that change the bahaviour of sleeping bags, or sleep in general?

I don't like those gated tames, where you need to have a specific stat or item. The theory is that your guy has an affinity with animals so it shouldn't be that much of a ball ache. That said, I could make it more interesting and less random. I might introduce a staged progression of taming, for example. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the reply. Took a lot of trying but I finally tamed an animal. Sure seems like it's worse odds than 50/50.

Nice mod. I'm having trouble with taming animals. Is it simply chance or do you need to be stronger or have a particular food item for specific animals?

Honestly one of the few mods that incorporates fishing and doesn't break it completely out the gate.
