Glass & Fail Door Achievements

This is a comprehensive guide on how to unlock the Glass Door and Fail Door achievements. It provides hints and the solution (with spoiler text) in case you just need a little boost and still want to solve the puzzles on your own.

Glass Door
The glass door can be found in the Winter Door puzzle area.
After first entering the Winter area, the door is on the left hand side of the fifth puzzle. If you reached the piano, you've gone too far.
It has three horizontal glass panes across the middle with a crescent move above it.



Hints
The door has nothing to do with the environment around it.

It's name also has nothing to do with the solution, only that the door is made of glass.

What time of day is the moon normally out?

The position of the moon (directly above the door) is related to a clock.


Answer
Go to the door at midnight. You can set your computer's clock to midnight (12:00 AM) if you aren't a night owl, or if you just want to get the achievement now.
Fail Door
To get to the fail door, head through the green garden with the shape puzzles.
Once you reach the sign labeled "exit at the door with figure ?", go through the left-most gate twice in a row.
You will see the letter 'R' on your screen, indicating you have failed the puzzle, hence the name "Fail Door."
On the left, you should see the Fail Door.



Hints
The door has nothing to do with the environment around it.

It is called the FAIL door.

The door has numbers on them: 1-5.

What other door deals with numbers & even has a number on the starting door?

The X's have a specific meaning related to failing.


Answer
• Go into the desert door.
• Fail each door in the first room only, in order 1-4. If the sign matches the door (i.e., you don't fail when you walk through), just fail the same door but in the next room (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4).
• Once you fail those four doors in order, head to the fail door in the shape garden.
• Your fifth & final fail should be entering the dead end with the fail door & the door will be open.

hi! can you please help me? i've entered to the Fail Door, but didn't get the achievement :( why could it be? if needed, I'll say that i've started new game (in Einstein mod) to get this last achiev and just failed desert doors as you said. so that I went to Fail Door, it was opened, but I didn't get anything (I even tried to stay there for minutes, but nothing). thanks :D

I still dont understand what i did wrong, i failed 1-4 and went to the fail door, yet it still was closed

@G I am not sure how to help with your issue. Are you failing as soon as you enter or are you getting to where the sign says "exit at the door with figure ?"?

I don't understand. Because when at the garden gate I fail 2 times in a row at the left gate and when I re-enter the garden gate the "Fail Door" does not appear on the left

ok, so if i remember correctly, you enter the desert door, and you have to choose between four doors labeled 1 to 4. so, you first have to fail by choosing door 1, then fail by choosing door, until you fail by choosing door 4. But, it could happen that the door you have to fail by going threw is the right answer, so you don't fail by choosing it. in this case, you still have to go through the door you had to fail, and then, when you arrives to the second door, you have to fail the door that corresponds to the door you have to fail, hence if it was door 1, go through door A, if it was door 2, go through door b, etc. when you finally fail by going into door 4 or door D, you have to go to the shape garden, suceeding all tests until last tests, where you have to go the leftest door. it's never the right answer, so, you are assured to fail. But don't restart, just continue and on your left, you'll have the fail secret door open for you
