Report a translation problem
If you fail the backflip a few THOUSANDS of times you're doing something terribly wrong. Floor spears are easy from a backflip. Literally hold down and press throw mid-flip. Even the more complicated stuff such as extended sliding did not take much more than ten attempts for me to get it right, and I doubt many others have a terribly more difficult time than that, let alone thousands of failed attempts at a simple trick such as a backflip. Maybe you play on a keyboard, in which case I guess it makes sense to get nothing but slides right.
