why glucose?
gamers must take glucose because glucose is easily digested and quickly absorbed by the blood, so it instantly gives energy to the body and this is also the reason that glucose is given to patients instead of food. but, don't expect to get better aim buff with this though.

(if you don't want to read the sciency bullshit and just want to know what to do for energy skip to the bottom)

There are also glucose tablets, which are over the counter and provide instant glucose and energy. Us diabetics use them, but the downside is it causes a blood sugar spike afterwards, leading to a tired effect. This happens to diabetics and non-diabetics, so its a trade-off of a short buff for a long nerf after. The most balanced option would be complex carbs such as cereals, pusedo-cereals, and grains such as pasta and bread. These are less fast-acting, but the buff lasts over a long period of time, with a less severe nerf. But this isn't the case for us Type 1 Diabetics, and the opposite will occur. The complex carbs will cause a long nerf bc we can't produce insulin and the medical devices can't keep up as well.

So basically,
Long sessions = grains, pastas, cereals, and energy drinks
Short sessions = candy, sugar (glucose), and glucose tabs

your blood sugar will rise quickly and drop quickly. Best eat long lasting carbohydrates in everyday meals, and drink a soda or energy drink as a little extra when gaming
