Chicken God
RULES
1) The religion Chicken God is always active.
2) -99% to cost of religion perks.
3) You get as much faith as you get holiness.
4) The temple is replaced with a wheat mill.
5) Start from 1 tile.

Trial 1
Objective: Get 5 tiles.
Reward: +20% food production if Chicken God is chosen

Trial 2
Objective: Get 10 tiles.
Reward: +20% abdication gold (global bonus)

Trial 3
Objective: Get 15 tiles.
Reward: +10% food production (global bonus), +10 amber

It's all about the wheat. Get Happy Chicken for rituals and Hidden Granule to keep the prices of getting more workers manageable. For heritage, I recommend Chromlechis. For pantheon, I recommend Gods of the Open Sky. You'll buy most of the tiles.
God of Stone
RULES
1) The religion God of Stone is always active.
2) You can abdicate during the ritual.
3) The farm is replaced with a cave (free, keeps 1% of wheat, wood, and stone after abdication.
4) You cannot build schools.
5) Start from 6 tiles.

Trial 1
Objective: Get 12 tiles
Rewards: 20% stone production if God of Stone is chosen.

Trial 2
Objective: Get 18 tiles
Reward: 20% to the production of wheat, stone, and wood during any ritual (global bonus)

Trial 3
Objective: Get 24 tiles
Reward: 10% to stone production (global bonus), +10 amber.

The challenge here is you can't use any of the multiply structures. Instead, you will want to make a few caves to store resources as they each store 1%. This means 2 caves will store 2%, 3 caves will store 3%, etc. For Heritage, I recommend Chromlechis. For Pantheon, goddess of nature. The key to getting anywhere with these challenges is the Tremors of Earth upgrade. Whenever you are going to abdicate, make sure you are in the middle of a ritual (and make sure it has the wheat, wood, stone rituals active)! This will multiply the gold by 5 and with the help of the Tremors of Earth upgrade, the +99 for each worker in each of the tiles is the best means of getting gold.
Goddess of Nature
RULES
1) The religion Goddess of Nature is always active.
2) +100 to ritual automation.
3) +100 to ritual power.
4) You can buy tiles for faith. (starts at 1B faith)
5) You cannot build academies.
6) Start from 6 tiles.

Trial 1
Objective: Reach 13 tiles
Reward: +20% wood production is Goddess of Nature is chosen.

Trial 2
Objective: Reach 16 tiles
Reward: +2 to ritual automation (global bonus)

Trial 3
Objective: Reach 19 tiles.
Reward: +10% wood production (global bonus), +10 Amber

The strategy here is to go all wood. After obtaining enough gold, focus on building forest camps to quickly build up more gold as loggers are cheaper and faster to obtain than workers for the wheat fields. Also, don't forget that you can boost their output with access to Religion the whole time. This will vastly improve abdication results. Unlike the other strategies, it is recommended to use Goddess of Nature as the Heritage and Legends of the Forest as the Pantheon.

While territories can be purchased for faith, this won't be too viable an option in the first trial. In the second and third trials, faith can account for about half the purchases. Note that the price in faith starts at 1B and caps out at 150T, so after the 7th purchase the price is the same for all further purchases. Because of the additional 100 power and automation, it is viable to perform maximum automation (lasting for almost 2 hours!) when there is enough faith to start the first ritual with all the rituals active. This is because of the massive increase in rate for everything from the additional power. It should be noted having only one temple and performing the full round of rituals is enough to fetch one tile, a task manageable by the end of the first trial. Still with one temple, two or three full ritual runs, if holiness is spent during those ritual runs, can fetch roughly enough faith for the first 2 tiles. Of the servants in religion, the missioner is recommended.
Oni
RULES
1. The religion of Oni is always active.
2. -99% to the cost of religion perks.
3. There is always an academy on the first tile. It doesn't count towards the increased cost of other tiles.
4. Free hiring, healing, and level-ups for heroes.
5. Hotels and training halls are built for free.
6. Trainings cost 100 million times less.
7. You can not buy tiles for gold.
8. The game starts from one tile.

Trial 1
Objective: Get 5 tiles.
Reward:+20% hero experience if Oni is chosen.

Trial 2
Objective: Get 10 tiles.
Reward: -10% mentoring cost (global bonus)

Trial 3
Objective: Get 15 tiles.
Reward: +10 HP for hero (global bonus), +10 amber

The only way to go here is conquering with heroes. The first trial is dependent on the adventurer class. Remember to spend holiness before reviving the hero, otherwise the "healing" will bring the amount of holiness available into the negative the first several times.

The second trial allows access to the other heroes. It's recommended to use the berserker and forgo defense in favor of the +3 atk per kill as soon as hitting level 2. This is because Spirits of War will revive the hero with the amount of atk they have as their hp. It isn't necessary to bother with a pantheon in the second trial since by the time one can be set up, the trial is almost done.

Since Training Halls are free, once the space is available, multiple training halls should be used to increase stats as they stack additively (i.e: 25% at one hall + 25% at a second hall = 50% total boost). This makes increasing stats cheaper overall.

In the third trial, religion may not be worth delving into. However, Ancillary Justice should be the Heritage and the servant should be the Missioner if the religious aspect is to be persued. What this will do is allow more holiness to be built up without effort from a hero. It is the only means available to move past lvl 5 Blade, lvl 2 Bloodrage, and lvl 1 Spirits of war. The economy to support a 2nd hero used isn't able to develop efficiently until around 10 tiles, when the monster kills needed to obtain a tile is over 10 000. A 2nd hero would be reason to develop religion and for the recommended religious items, 3 temples are required to achieve a reasonable time frame along with Goddess of Nature as the pantheon.
Wise Frog
RULES
1. Frog Religion is always active.
2. -99% to the cost of religion perks.
3. 10x "Quest for Knowledge" power.
4. There is always a mystery on the first tile.
5. The game begins with one tile and 100 fame.

Trial 1
Objective: Get 7 tiles.
Reward: Mysteries are 5 minutes faster

Trial 2
Objective: Get 14 tiles.
Reward: Mysteries are 5 minutes faster

Trial 3
Objective: Get 21 tiles.
Reward: Mysteries are 5 minutes faster

For the first part of each trial, it's mostly making those first purchases. The twist here that makes the gold flow in easier is the 2nd and 3rd abilities of the Wise Frog. The first ability will be mostly useless in the first trial since a stone tile isn't viable until you have 6 tiles. It is recommended to overnight some to let the mysteries do their thing as well.

Once you have 6 tiles, it's time to start working with stone. Get a temple and a school, placing the school on the first tile with a mystery. At this point, investing in the Quest for Knowledge perk becomes useful. Overnighting at this point is recommended to get that 100k+ abdication. Here, trial 1 ends, but the next stage of trials 2 and 3 begin. With 7 tiles, grab a heritage - Chromlechis makes the most sense as it benefits stone the most, the biggest pain in making the schools and academies.

After the first stage, you shouldn't need more than 1 forest and 2 wheat fields can usually handle most food necessities. Once you've established your heritage, building schools and long runs are the priority. Resources are slow to grow until the first school is built, but between Wise Frog's abilities and the boost from schools, resources start flying in. Remember to reserve a tile for an academy as the price of new tiles still grows too quick unless you do really long runs.

Trial 2 is restricted to only the adventurer and resources don't quite build up enough to go 2 heroes before abdication. However, it's not too difficult to manage enough income from abdicating after each conquest to purchase the 10 million gold tile as your 13th tile. The last tile may need a boost from a training hall to help speed things up some for conquering the last tile. Trial 2 can be finished in about a week. To help speed things up, the Forest Goddess pantheon is suggested.

It is worth the wait for the second academy in Trial 3. When it takes around 5000 enemies to conquer a new tile, consider doing a mentorship for an additional experience boost. Between the mentor bonus and the Wise Frog bonus, a berserker can hit level 5 by the end of the first battle. With how long it takes to conquer 2 tiles, enough gold should build up for the 100 million gold purchase. For the pantheon, go with Guru Blessing to further increase the benefit of schools.

samesies... this guide helped me do the trials, as a masochistic completionist... even with the ruby cheats from the time lapse cheat guide, to speed things along, it still took way too long for the rewards provided.

to the author I just wanted to say here that I appreciate you making this guide. I have referred to it at least 10 times. It (and you) have helped me immensely through these trials (as I write this I just am working on my last god (nature)). Thank you again and go **** *** rainbow (one of my friends) I saw them playing this and decided to d/l it. Rot in hell! To the author thanks again you are awful & awesome (for helping to keep me in the game & helping me through a crucial piece)

what about the wise frog trials?

training halls add up? ok, that's a gamechanger. I thought you could have only one...
Caralantha  [author] 3 Aug, 2019 @ 7:27pm
I relied on multiple training halls. Unfortunately, I don't remember the set-up to well. I never really relied on armor, just building my attack up so that when the revive kicks in my HP would be significantly higher. With three or more training halls and nothing else to really spend wood on, it's not too difficult to obtain 600-1000% for attack. You might want to ask somebody more knowledgeable about heroes for specific details.

setup for oni 12?! my armour lasts around 3 enemies even with +85% so infinite gain is out of the question. I already brute forced my way the last few tiles with the ronon and now that is getting nonsensical. what combo of items do I need to make progress so I don't need a week per tile?!

Probably Guru for increased ritual automation time. Definitely not chaplain.
