BB Kaiga Class

The 2nd ship of the Akagi Class, this ship was to be built in the same configuration but was redesigned later on. After the launch of the Akagi many captains felt that the larger guns could have been mounted on the ship, this sentiment only increased after war broke out with the Onyx Watch and the deployment of their castle ships. Eventually a decision was made to use the Hull of the Akagi class to experiment with a ship carrying much larger guns. And after many design setbacks and rebuilds the Kaiga entered service.
