Agroprom (Shadow of Chernobyl) (Summer)

Beskrivning
A strange, heavily contaminated area, Agroprom is home to the Agroprom Research Institute and a factory, connected to the outside world via railway tracks. It's notable for it's extensive network of underground facilities, corridors and other areas. To the north-west lies a shallow lake, chocked full of abandoned equipment and other debris.

Following the 1986 incident, the Research Institute was created to analyze the possibilities of agriculture on radiated soil, apparently either as a sister facility to the Dark Valley science center or a replacement for it after the construction site was abandoned.




This map was created by Shirk for Fusion Networks[discord.gg] and I just finished it, reworked many locations and fixed some bugs. Original level from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl by GSC Gameworld.

Map features:

- Usable campfires
- AI-nodes for NPCs
- Admin room with blowout and ambient music systems (Located under main building)
- Location for anomalies
- Underground facility
- Proximity to the original level

Nevermind, it was caused by an addon. Either the Shadow Editor or the Low FPS Fog addon.

The trees are black and there are lighting issues everywhere. By the train (where the campfire should be?), the ground is entirely black.

Okay I really like this map. It turns way creepier if you enable an overlay that makes it black and white. It turns into an even creepier map. What I dislike about this map is the fact there's a distance scream in the distance every 10-30 seconds. I feel like if those screams were spaced out like a lot, there's a missed opportunity to have it be really surprising. Instead it's like a one trick pony that you were like "Oh wow that was awesome" the first two times but then it just repeats it and at this point i'm ready to shoot the fucking pony. Unless it performs the trick like every hour or so.

Edit: I just discovered the admin room so now i can control the fucking pony
