Introduction

First of all, I'd highly recommend playing this game by yourself first and only consulting this guide if you're absolutely truly stuck. There's a lot to discover in this game and a lot of the fun is actually finding where everything is.

I've also tried to document as many additional secrets as I could find - there's definitely a lot more to this game that I'm missing, so if you find anything interesting let me know so I can add it to the guide as well.

I count an ending as anything that resets you back to the original "I want some milk" screen. To this effect, I've found 6 distinct endings:
  • Her Town
  • Corporate Slave
  • Milk Wish
  • Exit
  • Meaning of Life
  • Obsession
Classroom
Search around the classroom to see if there is any milk. Search your bag, the bag at the back of the classroom, and the locker at the front of the classroom. The door will open, revealing an extremely long hallway. Follow it to the end to discover... you forgot your keys. Great. Go alllll the way back to the beginning, and open the cabinet at the back of the classroom to grab your keys.

After you reach your first ending, the first half of the game will be quite a bit shorter. The hallway won't be as long, you can skip the war cutscene, etc.

Secret #1: Trophies
If you're interested in collecting the trophies, you'll find a button in the previously locked cabinet. Press on this button to reveal a secret room. Inside this room is a LOT of cabinets. Open them all up and you'll find 16 of the 17 different trophies. Tedious, but painful.

Secret #2: ONLY IN FIRST PLAYTHROUGH
There is a secret room during the first playthrough. Open the classroom marked with a sign, and there'll be a sign asking you questions that you can respond to with buttons. If you press the right combination of buttons, you'll get an ending about your obsession with Milk.

Strangely enough, I've occasionally had this door be openable in other playthroughs. The room isn't there, though, and I've just been able to fall through the world.

Minor Secret: Also only in first playthrough
There's a poster on the wall. Pressing E on it will reveal a most profound message...

Once you've left the classroom, you'll also pass through the cafeteria containing a vending machine. If you feel like it, grab the coins on the bench nearby, and put them into the vending machine. As far as I can tell, whatever you get from the machine has no bearing on anything else.

Elevators
For your first playthrough, I recommend just pressing the elevator and going down as normal. This will take you into the Library. Once in here, just put the floppy disk into the computer and then it will eventually open a room, taking you into the war preparation room.

While in the Library, you're also able to spot a familiar looking book.

You'll also notice a keypad here. With the right code, this will unlock the elevators.

Hint: Everything you need for this can be found before you arrive here. You don't need to remember something that happens later in the game. Look around you on your way here.

Solution: There are 3 clocks, one in the classroom, one in the hallway, one just before the cafeteria. Put all of the numbers on the clocks into the code (they change each game so I can't just post the solution here). Once the elevator arrives, jump in it a few times to cause it to plummet - see the Underground section of the guide for what happens afterwards.
War
Note: If you've already achieved both of the endings past this point, you'll be unable to do this section. Instead, the ladder behind you will be opened, and you can travel up to the Meaning of Life section instead.

Thankfully, you only need to do this section on your first playthrough. Once you've sat through the first cutscene, grab the "Democracy" and follow the linear path up to the hill.

You'll need to eliminate all the cardboard cutouts on the hill before raising the flag. Once that's done, Hold E and be patient. You'll get shot by an enemy tank. An oil rig will be placed in front of you, move over to it (slowly) and press E to activate it. After some dialogue, you need to use the radio. This is pretty much directly behind you - it can be difficult to spot in the darkness. Press E on the microphone to finish this section and wake up in the Hospital.
Hospital
This section had be absolutely stumped. Look at the page on the desk, then turn it over using the mouse. You'll get some vague clues here.

The key part is that the corridor outside the room changes every time you sleep. Sleep repeatedly until you can see the picture of someone on top of a mountain, then follow the map instructions (2 Left, 3 Right). You'll have the choice between the Exit and a door labelled Q&A.
Q&A
You'll have an encounter with a spooky milkman in this room. Stand in the red square and stare into his eyes as directed, and you'll be taken to the trolley problem. Make a decision It doesn't matter what you choose; nothing changes and afterwards you'll have a brief story about the protagonist's love for milk.

You can now leave to the exit. The rest should be easy from here. This is the first, and probably easiest, of the endings in the game. You'll be taken back to the starting classroom after this, ready to repeat everything.
Exit
Take the exit out and you'll discover a bus waiting to take you to the milk. Hop in, and enjoy the lovely scenery passing by.

After a short time, the bus will unfortunately vanish and you'll be stuck in the middle of the desert. You'll need to wander a short distance, and then things will fall from the sky. Interact with these to advance the story.

To my knowledge, there is nothing hidden in the desert if you walk far enough. I've explored a lot of it, but not quite all of it - so let me know if you do find something (I still think it's unlikely). Once you give up and interact with the phones & mailboxes, you'll have to perform some boring corporate bureaucratic work before eventually rebelling against the system. Do keep in mind that you have to press F instead of E after rebelling.

Break down the door to the milk (after injuring your shoulder) to get the ending.
Meaning of Life
This section becomes unlocked after you've achieved both endings in the Hospital area. Instead of the war cutscene, the doors start immediately open and the ladder near the entrance is now climbable. Head up there and find the door labelled "Meaning of Life".

An important note: if you're aiming for the achievement, the 17th trophy can be found doodled onto the corkboard close to the door.

Play around with all the buttons and switches on the door for a while, but you'll realise you can't get it to open. Instead, just hold down E on the handle and push forward. Too easy, right? Once you're inside, you'll discover the meaning of life, and achieve another ending.
Underground Theatre
This area is accessible from the second elevator. If you need to find out the code, read the Elevators section above.

Make sure you put on the tie (hanging to the left of the door) before entering. You'll have the choice between two movies. Playing the Godzilla movie is pretty much empty filler and then you'll return back to the main branch of the game. The other movie gives you access to two unique endings.

Play the movie and you'll get to have a quick experience about a guy preparing for his date. First, find the number on the back of the photograph and enter it into the phone. You'll then have to buy a hat, but oh no, it's too expensive!

Wander around your business venture briefly before realising you have no clients. Change the sign by pressing E on it and a lot of shoes will fall down from the sky. Clean ten of these and then you return to the shop - but now you have a choice between the hat and a book on automation (You can also find this same book in the Library, if you're observant). Your choice here is not important.

Once the movie stops playing, head outside to the ticket keeper and you'll be presented with a very similar choice - choose either the Milk or the Exit. Both of these tickets have unique endings.
Conclusion

I hope this guide helped you out to discovering more of the content that Katharsis has to offer! I still reckon there's a lot more to find in this game, so if you find any clues or secrets that aren't documented here, let me know and I'll investigate and write about them here.
