@luttwafe open the game's directory and navigate to "ems\left4fun\cfg", open the file "host_bans.txt" and remove the line with name of your friend then save the file.

I did the same thing and pasted the whole thing like a dumb dum eg.

bind <key> "show_menu Menu"bind 0 "slot10"

but its actually two separate things you need to paste like

bind <key> "show_menu Menu"

by itself then the other and just to be extra clear you don't need the < > or any " " just the key you want to assign

How do I change the kick/ban text? Like the text you see when you get kicked/banned?

could you make it so the kick/ban menus show the player names instead of the bots? bc sometimes it's impossible to kick certain people when playing with more than 4 survivors (eg: trying to kick a player using a l4d1 survivor on a l4d2 map).

Lets you use the "0" button in the menu, its unbinded by default
