Taming Inspiration

解説
Adds an event for a taming inspiration, that will greatly increase the chances of taming an animal for 24 hours. Will require Animals skill to be at least 12.

Yes, it's a short duration; that is intentional. Warning: It does not disable the revenge chance! That can override the tame success, so still use caution when taming!

As usual, all the thanks to Mehni and Jamaican Castle for the invaluable help!

Yep -- they added it to the game, so this one is pretty much useless.

It sounds to me like later versions of the game (v1.1?) added an Inspired Taming event. Right? Does that mean that this mod is mostly irrelevant now?

This should be compatible with No Self Tame, right? (This mod: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1451978348)
I think this would be a neat alternative to the self-taming vanilla event

A toast to you! :cleancake:

Thank you! And yes I am absolutely still coasting on the delight of having it added, especially since the vanilla version works the way I wanted mine to originally. xD

Thank you for your mod! It was great to have before 1.1, and seeing it ascend to Vanillalhalla is glorious. Well done!

It's now vanilla! Tynan added an official taming inspiration to 1.1, and it works much better -- it's what I wanted this mod to be, but didn't have the coding knowledge to do.

So, this mod is now officially obsolete, and won't be updated!

Since you mentioned you were interested in making an instant tame version, you may want to look at the Taming Artifact mod, which has a similar effect. Perhaps the creator of that mod may be willing to offer some advice?
