Report a translation problem
In the google docs the point count gets messy in the 3rd part, the only real issue it causes is that you cannot get Xelpud's random set C dialog where it is pointed out, fortunately you can delay that to the start of the last part (right after you get the Mulana talisman).
The other issue is that you're missing a handful of dialog with Xelpufd relating to entering hte tent with items, the pochette key, vessel and the Mulana talisman namely, the Mulana talisman is actually helpful in that case, what you have to do is get random set C after getting it (since you're sitting at 152 points instead of 150) then get the talisman dialogs (there's 2) which will reset your point to 150, aterwards you can follow the guide as normal and once you get back up to the part where it says to get the shell horm you can instead buy the waterproof laptop case from the surface and get those 2 points easily.
Right now I'm not too far but there's already a few issues, one that has been pointed out is that the guide missing 2 points for the step 41 dialog in the first part as only one of the software you buy actually gives points for now I chose to go with unlocking the Shell Horn chest to get those points, the other is that you cannot do step 19 without the translating software, it will not count until you scan it with the software active.
I'll post any further instance of issues I encounter.
Doing this allows you to face Palenque and Baphomet with full HP and the Angel Shield, and I found the Katana much easier to defeat Palenque when I was going after the "One Finger" achievement at the same time. Of course, if you're following this guide on Normal difficulty, it's not as necessary, but I definitely found it a far more helpful order.
Items not found in chests (Death Village on the surface for example, or Shuriken in the Gate of Guidance) must actually be picked up to gain their points, so they can usually be revealed without issue. (There may be exceptions to both of these rules, but all the examples I've given in this post follow them.)
The reason you may be seeing otherwise is likely due to a misconception about when points are earned. One of the most key things to remember here is this: if a point-giving item is in a chest, then the points are earned as soon as the chest is unlocked .
So an easy way to gain an extra +2 points and not realise it is to place a Weight unlocking the Shell Horn chest. That automatically gives you the +2, even before you whip the chest to reveal the Shell Horn, or pick up the Shell Horn itself.

To confirm the other comments and for the benefit/reassurance of future visitors, I too found three instances of needing to get points back on track to get the expected dialogue:
Mulbruk wake up, Step 41 (Xelpud, in the middle...)
Til the end, Step 155 (Mulbruk random dialogue Set C)
Til the end, Step 169 (Talk to Mulbruk three times...)
In every case, an 2 extra points did the trick. Follow the guide to the letter just in case , but if you find you need a detour, it'll be alright. (I did waterproof case for the first, heatproof case for the second and Ghost Lord kill [no shuriken] for the third, for example)
You can do it too! Good luck!
Thanks so much for the comprehensive walkthrough!
