My goal for this guide is to expand on the requirements needed to complete these achievements. This will include the location in game, abilities required, and an overall general order in which they are acquired. There will be a in depth checklist at the end to show exactly how to get each needed collectible.

In total, there are quite a few collectibles in this game that are required to unlock the "Math is Hard" achievement.
  • Complete all rounds of the punching game in Basic Braining.
  • Collect 117 Psi Cards and combine with Psi Cores.
  • Find all 9 Psi Challenge Markers.
  • Find all 16 Scavenger Items and return to Cruller.
  • Find all 19 brains and return to Cruller.
  • Find all figments worth 1,600 points.
  • Open all 19 memory vaults
  • Find all 50 emotional baggage.
  • Find and weave all 54 mental cobwebs.

Note: There is a Point of No Return after freeing Lili. After you free Lili you can turn in the cobwebs to the fortune teller. You are clear to pass this point when you have collected...

Achievements
There are quite a few achievements that you get for working towards Math is Hard. These are just the collectible achievements which I will outline for you now.


Math is Hard]
Achieve Rank 101
This is the achievement where you are required to essentially 100% the game.
To get Rank 101, you must complete all rounds of the punching arena.

There are 8 badges in the game, all will come throughout playing through the campaign.

There is one missable, the rest can be acquired at any time.

  • Complete Sasha Shooting Gallery.Its behind the thorny tower.
    Lungfishopolis
  • Located on top of a skyscraper after the monorail tunnel.
    The Milkman Conspiracy
  • You need telephone access, it's on the island accessible from the telephone pole after the road crew.
    Waterloo World
  • Located on the pink bridge near the peasant who is unarmed.
    Black Velvetopia
  • Hang from the window painting on the upper ledge at end of the of an alley near the Queen of Diamond entrance, enter the newly created window.
  • MISSABLE- Use the Confusion Grenade to stop the bull so that the dog can paint the poster on the wall. Once finished, approach the painting and then return to Dingo Inflagrante for your reward.

  • Under the stairs leading to Basic Braining.
  • On the tree root near Basic Braining.
  • On the cabin next to the trampoline.

  • Jump onto the poles from the starting cabin to reach the next card.
  • Walk into the cavern, and slide down. Take the right exit to collect a card.

  • Climb up a radio tower near Basic Braining.
  • High in the mountains - from the entrance to the upper cave, jump left onto a cargo net (Requires Levitation). At the top of that net, jump to the net on the nearby tree. From the tree, jump onto the tight rope to collect the card.

A tip for the railing, is to do each rail, and then when Bobby Filch appears, jump off and you will respawn at the top. Best pattern is Left, Right, Center.

  • On an outside ledge of the tower, just after the penultimate warning.
Psi Challenge Markers
  • In the upper section just before the two large rooms with windows. This is located on a heavy pipe - walk along the pipe as far as you can, and double jump to touch the marker.
Brains
  • Benny - 2nd floor, near toilet. Smash wooden barricade to the right of the stairs.
  • Bobby Zilch - 2nd floor, exit elevator and climb the fallen floor. Near the brown pipe, slide across a gap, there is a doorway on the left.
  • Elka - 4th floor, after exiting the door outside, levitate jump to a broken floor above.
  • Quentin - Slime Pit room, jump along the arches until you get to the window.
  • Dogen - Ledge outside of the tower. Drop from the ledge above or the ledge directly above the stairs.
  • Phoebe - Ledge outside of the tower in the broken room. When climbing the metal grill, use a hole in the grill to get to the other side.
  • Crystal - Upper part of the broken room, after the metal grill. Found on the ledge in the corner.
  • Clem - In the left of the two upper rooms with large glass windows. Enter the left room through the hole in the ceiling.
  • Nils - Above two rooms, after riding the pipe and climbing the metal grating.

Checklist (Psi Cards - Part 1)
Kids Cabin Area
  • Go directly straight ahead out of your bunk. Under the pathway leading up to Coach Oleander's class
  • Hang a left from the previous card, and climb the pole. At the top
  • You should be able to see the third card from where you found the previous. It is located on a tree branch directly to the north.
  • Go to the right and follow the path back down towards the bunks. When the path ends, there should be an outhouse in front of you, and a bunk to the left. The card is behind the bunk.
  • Go into the outhouse by pressing the triangle button, the card is in there.
  • Use the trampoline next to the next bunk to reach the roof. The card is on the roof of the bunk.
  • Follow the tightrope from one bunk roof to the next. The card is on the next roof.
  • From the previous, you should see some poles you can swing on. Use them to reach the netting on the tree and jump from there to the caveside where the next card rests.
  • Go into the cave and slide down the mud. Jump into the alcove on the right when you see it and follow it down. The card is directly to the left after you come out onto another path.
  • Follow the path in the cave and the card is directly in front of the ladder.
  • Proceed back to the trampoline next to the second bunk. Once you reach the tightrope connecting the two roofs, turn right and you should see a trapeze you can swing on. Use it to reach the next trampoline, where the next psi card is waiting.
  • Levitation is required to reach the last psi card in this area. Reach the cave entrance and use levitation to reach a net climbing up a nearby ledge. There is a tightrope above you, but first you need to jump to another net and then jump to the tightrope

Main Campgrounds
  • Turn right and you should see the card through a hole in the fence.
  • Then go straight ahead and under the ramp leading to the main lodge is the next card in the area.
  • Continue up the path around the main lodge until you see a couple picnic tables. Near the tables is a pole you can climb up.
  • From the previous card, walk across the tightrope. Half way across you will see the card on the rope.
  • Continue across the tightrope from the previous, and you will see the card directly in front of you.
  • Jump to the roof of the lodge from where you are. The card is on the opposite corner of the roof.
  • Follow the tightrope from the previous card to yet another tower containing a psi card on the top.
  • Jump down from the tower and follow the path. On the right side on top of a rock is the next psi card.
  • Continue down the path until you see a parking lot. Turn right just before the lot and you should see an outhouse
  • In the parking lot is a basketball hoop. The card is on top of the hoop, but too high to just jump to. Near the back of the hoop is a big rock. Jump on top of the rock, and double jump to the hoop to grab the card.
  • On the opposite side of the parking lot is a jeep. Jump on the stump behind it and then on top of the jeep to reach this card.
  • Levitation is required to reach this next psi card. In the middle of the parking lot is a large stump. Levitate to the top of it
  • Right before the parking lot ends, near the path leading back to the lodge you will see a card on a branch near a trash can.
  • Start heading back up to the main lodge and turn right to see a formation of rocks. You need to scale these rocks to reach this card on the top.
  • Continue scaling the rocks until you reach a platform. Use the trapeze to reach the tower
  • From this tower, there is a tightrope leading to a large wooden sign.
  • Travel back to the area with the picnic tables near the lodge. Off to the right is a large rock with a tree next to it.
  • Climb back up the tower near the tables and halfway across the tightrope. Turn towards the lodge and you should notice the card inbetween the two roofs. Just jump across to reach it.

Ford's Sanctuary
  • On the very bottom of the sanctuary, there is a card near the entrance structure.
  • From the entrance turn to the right and look up to see the card. Use the platforms to reach it.

GPC and Wilderness
  • Turn to the right from the entrance and follow the path. Above the cave that leads to the Boathouse is the card. Use the rocks next to the cave to reach it.
  • Near the cave entrance is a set of rocks. There is a tree up the slope near these rocks. Continue to jump up the left side of the slope
  • Follow the path until you end up around the outer edge of the fence. Keep going around close the fence.
  • Right near the previous psi card is another next to a nearby tree.
  • Keep going around the outer edge to find another card on a tree limb on the ground.
  • Next to the bear on the outer edge is yet another card on a tree limb.
  • From the previous card, just a little further along is a rock formation. Climb the first rock
  • Further up the rock formation is another card. Just jump from rock to rock
  • There is another large rock formation nearby. Climb to the top
  • From the cabin, turn to the river and follow it up stream away from the domes to reach this card on the left bank.
  • On top of the large log in the center lies this card. Use the small chunk on the side to reach it.
  • Under the domes, near the back fence
  • Use the spikes on the central dome to reach the top
  • From the central dome, look to the east to see a card on a branch. Jump to the tree and climb the vines to reach the branch.
  • Follow the branch, using another one to swing across the gap. After sliding down the next one, climb the vines
  • Once you reach the top of the last tree, where a challenge marker lies, use the nearby branches to reach yet another tree. Climb down the vines
  • Return to the large rock near the cabin. From the top of the rock, use the two branches to reach the top of a tree. Swing to the nearby ledge
  • From the ledge, follow it until you reach the large log that slides down. The card is in the log, just slide down to get it.

Sasha's Underground Lab
  • Follow the path partially down and you should see the card on a ledge on the right side.
  • At the bottom of the room, behind the reclined chair and white statue.

Boathouse and Beach
  • Under the first part of the path leading from the main campgrounds
  • Under the second part of the path leading from the main campgrounds
  • Make a right once you reach the beach, and follow the path. Right side behind the bushes near the boathouse.
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. Use levitation to reach the roof of the boathouse. On the mast
  • From the mast, psi float over to the nearby cave, out front
  • Return back to the mast and jump down to the netting below. Under the next mast is the next card.
  • This card is right next to where you found the previous, just jump up on top of the path covering.
  • Continue along these coverings until you reach rails leading up to the bathysphere roof. Go up these rails as far as you can and psi float to the nearby roof

Checklist (Psi Cards - Part 2)
Boathouse and Beach Cont.
  • Jump onto the nearby rock, and then back down to the path.
  • Return to the bottom of the path leading from the main campgrounds. Go off to the right and hug the cliff. Follow this around
  • Go to the pier in the middle of the lake. Card on a nearby rock. Levitate jump and psi float over to it.
  • After returning to the central dock, levitate over to the next dock, where this card is resting on a support.
  • Return to the bottom of the path leading from the main campgrounds. Hug the nearby wall again and go partially around this time. Jump up on the ledge, and jump up again
  • Continue up the path from where you found the previous card. Use the branches to swing over the gap
  • From the previous card, follow the path up just a bit. You should see a rock on the left side near the edge. From the rock, jump to the swings and continue to swing across.
  • Continue swinging along, and this card is on a platform at the opposite end of the set of swings.

Reception Area
  • When you come into this area from the main campgrounds, go straight ahead when you pass through the camp fire location. Walk a little bit along the path and then jump over the fence on the left side to find this card inbetween trees and rocks.
  • Continue up through the trees from where you found the last card. You should come to a tiny little graveyard with a couple headstones.
  • Directly in front of the mine entrance near the building Cruller is at.
  • Go into the mines and you will find this card in their.
  • This card is in the mines as well.
  • Once you near the end of the mines, their are a couple tracks that go over the edge.
  • Before grinding along the tracks, jump above the mines exit to find this card on top of a rock.
  • Grind along the left track at the end of the mine
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. Return back to the structure where Cruller is. Nearby is a tree with a tightrope attached to it. Levitate jump up on the tightrope to find this card there.
  • Continue across the tightrope to find this card past a tree.
  • Go through the swamp and you should see a nearby rock formation. Climb to the top of the large rock
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. From the top of the rock formation, levitate jump and psi float over to this card on top of a tower over the swamp.
  • There is another rock formation near a large tree near Cruller's location. Scale this one to reach another card.
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. Jump to the first branch of the large tree to find this card.
  • From the previous card, turn towards Cruller's location and you should see this card on a nearby rock. Climb the rock to get the card.
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. Turn back around and go a little ways away from Crueller. Levitate up on top of the nearby support
  • Continue on and climb the large set of rocks. Cross over the river and jump on top of the high rock
  • Overlooking the swamp is a large tree with a car in its trunk. This card is directly in front of it.
  • From the previous card, turn away from the tree to see the card on a ledge across the swamp below. Jump over the swamp to reach this.
  • Next to the GPC and Wilderness entrance, you should see a large formation with a path spiraling around it. Reach the top
  • In the swampy river, follow it around until you find the waterfall. The last card in this area resides behind this waterfall


Asylum Grounds
  • As soon as you beginning climbing up to the asylum, this card is on the second ledge.
  • Levitation is required to obtain this card. After completing the Milkman's Conspiracy, enter the asylum grounds. When you reach the area with the fountain, turn around and levitate jump on top of the left column
  • At the opposite end of the grounds where you came in, the card is to the left of the Boyd.
  • Upon entering the grounds, turn right at the fountain and smash through the cart. Go to the right and you will find the card at the end of the path.


Asylum Lower Floors
  • When you enter this area, go forward and to the left. Jump up on the platform and double jump
  • From the previous card, swing across the gap, and then swing across the next. Jump over to the tiny ledge where this card is waiting.
  • Jump to the tightrope and enter Edgar's art room. After the conversation, the card is in the room.
  • From Edgar's room, jump over the gazebo

Asylum Upper Floors
  • Go through the first hall and jump over the pile of beds.
  • Go up the stairs in the first hall, and then cross over the gap to the right. Smash the boards covering the door and you'll find this card in the corner.
  • On the second floor, cross the large gap in the floor using the pipes, and go into the elevator shaft to the left.
  • After jumping down the elevator shaft, grind the pipe to cross the gap. Jump on top of the mound on the right side and through the hole in the ceiling.
  • This card is in the same spot as the last, just check the ledge.
  • After climbing the second set of stairs, go through the room on the right and out the window. In the next room this card is waiting on the outer ledge.
  • Turn around and levitate up to the top outer ledge in the first room.
  • Continue to levitate up around the outer ledge, and you will see this card on the next floor up.
  • Climb around the spiraling steps, and go into the room on the left and behind the bed.
  • Continue up the path, and you will get swarmed by rats. Shortly after this will be a room partially filled with radioactive waste. On the far side of the room
  • In the room with the radioactive waste, climb up the ladder on the side.
  • In the same room, there is a card on a high platform. You can levitate around the outer edge near the top and jump over.
  • At the top of the room with the radioactive waste, there is a platform
  • Near the top of the same room, there is a grating with a pole jutting near it. Levitate to the platform.
  • Levitate up and climb the grating from the previous card. You need to get around to the outside and climb up from there eventually. At the top, levitate up to a platform.
  • At the very top of the radioactive room, you'll find a rail you can grind to the outer edge.

Dr. Loboto's Lab

  • Phoebe - Ledge outside of the tower in the broken room. When climbing the metal grill, use a hole in the grill to get to the other side.
  • Crystal - Upper part of the broken room, after the metal grill. Found on the ledge in the corner.
  • Clem - In the left of the two upper rooms with large glass windows. Enter the left room through the hole in the ceiling.
  • Nils - Above two rooms, after riding the pipe and climbing the metal grating.
    Upper Tower
  • Vernon - Near the crow trap.
  • Elton - At the top of the tower.
  • Mikhail - At the top of the tower.

this guide is trash, needs to be less vague, and needs many corrections, for example: the purse from the milkman conspiracy is not at the second house, it is inside the house guarded by G-men with shears.

the numbers in Milla's Dance Party don't add up. You've got 34 listed, and sadly, it seems the one I'm missing is one of the ones thats not listed. I did find one on one of the pods around the ceiling fan though.

I appreciate the guide very much, but just a correction:

In Meat Circus, there are 94 figments total , but the amount you list totals to 95.

The guide state that "8 can be found until reaching the second bunny pickup," but it's actually only seven in this segment. You should have 63 figments as you exit the bunny tent.
