Hello REV0! Nice assets! However can you please also make the Wittenbergkopf / control car / Steuerwagen? Because that is all that missing from your Halberstadter collection

That would be awesome, normally it's scheduled as next asset but i can postpone it a bit for better references. Gonna add you as friend on steam makes communication easier

Thanks again

I can ask. They actually plan to move ICE repair to Cottbus, don't know which version yet though. If that finally happens, chances are they have such plans.

Thats good info thank you. Speaking of Deutsche Bahn and knowing people, how difficult is it to get ICE3 plans/prints as it is next asset? Internet result is disappointing so far I lack a good blueprint as reference

I recently talked to a guy who worked in RAW Cottbus and he confirmed that the mint livery was already used in the west in the early eighties but the Halberstadter Coaches were used in east German DR lieveries only (Chromdioxyd Gruen, Laubgruen and Elfenbein/Gruen). Although he still works at that facility (know owned by one of the Deutsche Bahn companies) there are no documents from that days confirming it.

Cool. For those the Bmhe here is kind of optional while the Y-Wagon Ame/Bme and a restaurant or buffet are mandatory (see: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St%C3%A4dteexpress#Laufwege_und_Wagenreihung ). Thanks for your work :steamhappy:

Thanks. I'll try to fix title although updating game ones will be a pain so probably wont touch those. Good news is that Stadteexpress ones are schedule so at least other variants will be proper

Well, DB didn't had any Halberstadter before the fall of the wall. DR was officially merged in DB in 1994 although they coordinated operations since reunification. Wikipedia entries for Halberstadter and DR history don't go too much into detail unfortunately. Color scheme for DR didn't had mint green - then again, your Halberstadter has DB logo which they didn't get before 1990 - perhaps even later. 1989-1994 were colorful times...

I had those dates confimed to DB train driver, seems there's a mistake.

Only material I found was DB proposed brand change (that included asset's scheme) around 1986 and first train rolled out in 1987 with new colors. I found green/ivory was introduced in 1982.

If you can point me to correct material it would be great tho, as I will make of these so I appreciate any reference I can use to pinpoint periods

more like 1996 - the east german Halberstadter were geen or green/ivory back in the 80ies*. While the mint design was introduced in west germany in the mid 80ies, that scheme wasn't used on them until the early 90ies.

(*) a few even had the ivory/orange Stadteexpress colors.
