BTW, as Chip pointed out, two repeaters are enough (with the mirror between them). That seems more elegant.

My issue seems to be well fixed. No choice of delay length avoids sucking up the candle now.

Hi J3LLY. There's another issue to deal with:

One can place the laser splitter as a "slash" above the left bottle rocket to direct it to the right and an inverse laser to redirect it down again so that it exactly pushes the right bottle rocket from its socle. The other inverse laser, placed right pointing under the dynamite, will ignite this second rocket and keep the candle away from the dynamite. No laser repeaters and no outlet are used for this solution.

I hope this information can help to perfect your admirable puzzle.

I tried the first cheat and it still works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K78dg_jMZRc&feature=youtu.be . Maybe just move the vacuum a little to the left, so the candle can't get caught by the bamboo on the right? Or adjust the starting position of the wagon so an integer number of seconds delay won't save the candle? BTW, I don't think you need to include "without blowing up the dynamite" as a goal, since you can't light the second rocket if you blow up the dynamite.

Amazing solution to the puzzle! I ended up cheating and not producing a short pulse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk4uChSIeHw . Chip cheated in a similar way, using the mirror to keep the candle from getting sucked into the vacuum. Lowering the vacuum would probably avoid my cheat, and maybe Chip's also (since he doesn't turn off the vacuum).

(PS: I didn't use one of the laser repeaters.)
