Alexander The Great died in Babylon 323 BCE after returning from his campaign. The coin was minted in the name of Alexander but not the ruling King at the time, which was Alexander's Stepbrother Philip III of Macedon. Perhaps this coin was minted in the year that Alexander had died, making this the most special coin that I currently own.
