They're doing very well on runes, but looking at their level, overall HP and general gear level, that chest could definitely contain a needed blood gear blueprint. That character has neither the HP nor adequate vampirism to survive much farther without going long stretches without taking a single hit. They would need the best helm and chest they could find, and preferably the blood cape well after they'd upgraded everything else well past. Whatever it contained, frustrating way to lose that chest.
