This choice depends on Steve. Steve is weak. It would be better to have a summoner armor, so that minions defend him from monsters when he's building, especially the stardust with it's guardian, but again, this is up to Steve.

Steve will need a few things :
An Architect Gizmo pack
A mechanical lens
A mechanical ruler
A portable cement mixer
A toolbox

A UFO and a static hook will greatly help Steve move around swiftly.

The Laser drill has a great range, so it's a must have. the rest is up to Steve, once again.

Builder's potions, and mining potions are of great help. Don't forget about visibility, Shine potions and night owl potions will help Steve. Steve can't see in the dark.
