Surgery to remove bounties

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
A lore-friendly mod where plastic surgeons can now perform radical surgery on your characters to remove bounties they may have acquired.

Surgery cost has been put to 10,000 cats for balance reasons. This is to discourage players from clearing bounties over small crimes and it is best suited for bounties that are permanent (above 10,000).

This mod works out of the box, no imports are required. Changes are basic and should be safe to uninstall for whatever reason.

Plastic surgeons will give you 3 options:

1. The default 200 cats facelift which takes you to the character edit menu and removes slave status.

2. The radical surgery for 10,000 cats which also takes you to the character edit menu.

3. Refuse and leave.


I hope you find this mod useful. Please leave any feedback if you feel this should be balanced differently. Since my character does a lot of crime related things, I feel the punishment of 10,000 cats for a major screwup an adequate punishment after putting in the effort to avoid the authorities and to find the surgeon while paying a relatively moderate fee.

UPDATE:
Mod has now been updated to also allow guild surgeons to provide the same service for the same price.

odd, honestly never needed this as by default the bounties have been disappearing from my characters by default when i use the surgeons, does this mod also prevent or change how being a slave with a bounty works?

seem to not work if you are a female they will pop only 200 cats dialouge but male they alway say you need 10000 cats

With the right mod in you can have non Holy Nation plastic surgeons on the farms that are left over after handing the Nation over to the Shek and Flotsam, so Holy Nation bounties post world change are the easiest to deal with. Though it's kind of pointless to worry about post world change, and I'm pretty OCD about most stuff.

The mod works fine, thanks a lot for it. If you guys need additional plastic surgeons, just use it together with "More Plastic Surgeons" (mod id=715349763). It adds those NPCs almost in every bar imaginable (including UC, SK and HN).

There is no Plastic Surgeon in the United Cities, Shek Kingdom, or Holy Nation. What's the point of the mod if you can't remove the only bounties that matter?

@Spectre This mod only works for the faction you're located in. So you'd need to find a plastic surgeon in a Highlander's town/waystation and do the 10,000 cats thing there. You can't get it done in Shek/UC/Holy Nation Towns. I tried modding a work around, but the game only lets you erase bounties for the faction whose territory you're in.


I think the only way to do it is to recruit a unique recruit, give them the plastic surgeon dialogue (via modding tool), take them to the faction you want to clear bounty from, kick them from party (since you can't initiate plastic surgeon dialogue with a party member), then get the radical change from your former party member. However, you lose the unique recruit. I don't think you can get them back after dismissing.

this is one of my fav mods to be honest
it adds very little and perfectly fiits the game theme, just expand possibilities
