This is simply to give everyone an easier time figuring out the controls. This is assuming you are using a Keyboard.

Basically, the box in the upper right is what the Controls Config box will look like after pressing F1 in game. You'll stuff that'll more than likely make you "WHA???" and then you'll look at the manual for controls and probably get more confused.

The White keys as shown in the picture is the Keys on a Standard Keyboard.
The Red Letters are for the Codes used by the Developer to say stuff like "Y opens menu".
So, treat this as a way of visually seeing what key does what.

Explanations are in the picture - I added them using my own keyboard & editing using MS Paint (nothing special).

If you wanna change controls, but still don't get it....
The Keys on your keyboard, you cannot change them like in MOST games. Like if say in Shooters, for moving forward you'd typically press W when remapping keys. In this game, you can't do it like that. You have to assign the codes to the keys.
As shown in picture, if you want to open the Menu with the Esc key instead of S, then you'd go to the drop down box next to Esc and select Y. Now you'll have to change S to something else OR select "-" to make it so that S doesn't activate anything.

As far as I know, we cannot change the movement keys to whatever we want. You'll have to check with the Developer on that one.
I hope this cleared things up.

Also, you don't have to change anything, but for the sake of it, I would suggest matching the Config with the Controls Manual (found in the game directory) so that your controls match the manual, otherwise you might get confused.
If you do intend on changing the keys, I highly suggest taking a screen shot (Print screen & pasting in paint) so that you don't forget.
