- For fast PCs, enable "Shader Preload" option
- Make the jump after you shoot the assassin. Quit out once you see the photo of the main squad, return to the main menu.
- NOTE: When you reload on veteran, you'll still see the intro animation. Once you skip it, you should be back at the point where you shoot the assassin. If that doesn't happen, you didn't quit fast enough
- Someone said to go into window mode and use the Stop button to quit - that's what worked for me on a fast PC. Highly recommend that strategy over the Alt F4 route.
Cheers everyone!
when you get to the part where the guy is going to execute the hostage
-shoot the hostage intentionally
-save and quit after the checkpoint reloads
-Return all the way to the main menu
-THEN perform the veteran glitch.
Good luck, may your alt+f4 skills prevail.
