01. The Plains
Tutorial 3:
Slay as many slimes as you can and collect their green gems. If they don't drop any green gems, start cutting the grass until you've got as many you can carry. Now head for the the ledge to the east and enter an opening in the rock wall. Defeat the purple slimes with the gems you just collected by holding down the magic button and hitting them with that magic attack that uses two gems a time. Once they're all dead, a treasure will appear. Inside it you'll find a Golden Pedestal.
02. Terran Ruins
Path To The Ruins:
Go ahead and start killing some of the slimes and catterpillars, it should take you a minute or so. Then collect the green gems and start running back to the start. A purple slime should have spawned there. Once you killed it with electricity by holding down the magic button, a treasure will appear. You'll find Ferromin inside it.

Ruined Main Gate:
Head forward and cross the bridge. You'll be in the center of 4 pillars. Hit one of them and a treasure should appear. You'll find a Wooden Shield inside it.

Grand Staircase:
Destroy all of the torches in this room and a treasure will appear. Inside it you will find a pair of Leather Gloves.

Hall:
Make your way past the many enemies, collecting red and green gems. Then move up the stairs and head right. Jump across the broken ledge until you can't go any further. Up ahead you'll spot a barrel. Destroy it with your magic powers. If you succeed, a treasure should appear, containing a Focus Staff.

Cave:
Make a run for the exit without attacking any of the enemies you encounter. There's a skeleton that'll spawn at the exit. If he's the first kill you make, a treasurechest will appear with Speedboots inside them.

Deepest Caverns:
Press the target button to aim for the boss. Now press this button again to avert your aim to one of the crystals on its shoulders. During the fight, try picking up magical gems while you avoid being hit. Then carefully look for an angle and use your gems to damage those crystals. A treasure should appear once both arms have fallen off. Ferromin will be inside it.

Insect King's Lair:
Look for for a pool of water along the walls of the room. Just stand still in there for a few second and you'll notice a treasure will appear. It contains a Backscratcher.
03. Ignan Ruins
The Mountain Path: There's 5 rocks in this area, 3 of which are on ground level. You need to climb the logs in order to reach the other 2. Hit all of them with your weapon and a treasure will appear at the exit. You'll find a Common Shield inside it.

Volcano Path: Spiral up the mountain, killing enemies, until you notice a part where you'll be able to jump down. Go stand somewhere beside the treasure chest, taking your position in the middle of the road. Notice how part of the ledge up ahead is brighter in color? Run in a straight line towards the ledge and jump off, using the camera to aim a little to the left of the bright strip. If you do it just right, you should jump on a platform with a barrel. Break it and a treasure appears with Tough Gloves inside. This'll be tricky!

Lava Pools: Whatever you do, don't break the barrels blocking your way on the right. Head left instead, exterminating every creature along the way. Cross the broken bridge and kill the floating firemonster. This may seem like a dead end, but looks can be deceiving. Use the camera to align Elise with a different bridge on ground level up ahead. If you run up to the ledge and jump downstairs, you should successfully reach the other side of the barrels. Continue your killingspree until the door opens. Once that happens, you can break those barrels and the Ferromin will be yours.

Entrance To The Ruins: Collect some gems and head up the stairs. Once you're at the top, jump into the crevice on the right. Kill the shell creature with your magic powers and a treasure should appear downstairs. There'll be a Standard Charm inside it.

Halls Of Flame: When you head up the stairs, there'll be 2 corridors that connect to eachother, so either go left or right. This won't work if you stop running, so once you head in, make a continuous run for the end of the corridor. This'll require jumping over some holes, but if all goes right, a treasure will appear with a pair of Winged Boots inside.

Mural Room: Fight the boss like you normally would, but knock him in all of the 4 holes this time. If you succeed, you'll be rewarded with a Strong Armband.

Colliseum: This one isn't so hard. Stand on the ledge anywhere in the arena and stay like that for a couple of seconds. A treasure will appear with a Cat Statue inside.
04. Aquan Ruins
Wetlands:
To make this objective easier, equip both the Speedboots and Winged Boots (found in the secret chests from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level and Ignan Ruins "Halls Of Flame" level). The Winged Boots enable you to use the Airdash technique (slide in mid-air). Try reaching the exit without touching the water, and a treasure carrying Mermaid Shoes will appear.

Bridge To The Ruins:
With your Speedboots and Winged Boots equipped (found in the secret chests from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level and Ignan Ruins "Halls Of Flame" level), jump on the bridge's railing. Stay on this railing as you run into a straight line toward the end of the bridge. This means you'll need to use those Winged Boots to make a few airdashes (slide in mid-air). A treasure will appear once you get there. It contains a Fire Crystal.

Spiral Corridor:
Wear the Speedboots and Winged Boots (found in the secret chests from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level and Ignan Ruins "Halls Of Flame" level) and spiral upwards. Eventually you'll reach a wooden board. Cross it and stop to look at your left. You'll spot a pool of water just hanging in the center. Get inside that pool for a treasure to appear. You'll reach it with ease from here by airdashing twice (slide in mid-air). If you don't have these boots, just drop down from a greater height. This'll get you a Pretty Wand.

Underwater City:
Run towards the graveyard at the end of the level and beat up all of the skeletons to make the objective somewhat easier. Then stand on top of each and every gravestone for a big skeleton mid-boss to appear. Beat him up and your reward should be a Magic Necklace.

Silent Church:
Start off by killing each and every enemy in the room. Then head for the entrance and destroy all of the unlit torches. A killer fish appears. If you kill this weakling, a treasure appears with a Silver Gauntlet inside.

Guardian of the Ruins:
Target and encircle the boss. Wait for it to use it's lightning attack and jump over the beams. Do this a few times and a treasure will appear. Inside it you'll find Ferromin G.

Waterways:
For this to work properly, don't attack any of the enemies. Just put on your Speedboots (found in the secret chest from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level) and run along the right wall until you've passed 3 corners. Then head down the stairs to your left and make a jump for the light at the exit. If none of the enemies have killed themselves, you'll retreive the Coin Emblem from the secret treasure chest.
05. Zephyran Ruins
Forest of Miasma:
To get this treasure, you need a fishingrod (you'll receive one from the fisherman in The Plains "Tutorial 3" level). Now enter the Forest of Miasma and clear it of all enemies. Once they're all dead, return to the pool of water and start fishing. Catch a fish to get yourself a Popular Charm.

Emperor-Bug's Tomb:
You'll need to equip the Winged Boots for this one (found in the secret chest from the Ignan Ruins "Halls Of Flame" level). You're not supposed to touch the water, so upon spawning, check the ledge to your right and hop onto the closest pillar. Now make an airdash (slide in mid-air) to the right of the weird plant-thing on top of the platform. Hop onto the giant larvae where the caterpillars roam and run for the exit. If you get there, a treasure spawns where the caterpillars were. There's some Ferromin FX inside it.

The Windmill Bridge:
With both the Speedboots and Winged Boots equipped (found in the secret chests from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level and the Ignan Ruins "Halls Of Flame" level), run for the bridge and airdash (slide in mid-air) across it. A treasure will pop up once you reach the other side. Open it to get an Earth Crystal.

Engine Room:
Kill some enemies for gems at the start and then make your way downstairs. Continue your route towards the exit as you climb your way back up. It'll lead you to a horizonal cogwheel platform with a pin sticking out vertically. Two ghost enemies will distract you from the clam that has spawned on the top of the pillar. Move away from the cogwheel and use the aiming button to target the enemy that's been hidden from sight. Now fire a magic attack and claim a Hallowed Charm once you kill it.

The Tempest:
Slap on your Speedboots (found in the secret chest from the Terran Ruins "Cave" level) and make a run for the exit. This is best done by heading left at the start, and jumping down at the second skeleton, moving your way up to the exit. If you reach it within 30 seconds, the Eskimo Shoes will appear for you to claim.

Mountain Summit:
Getting this treasure to appear is all about preparation. What worked for me, was to equip 2 charms and 2 shields. During battle I picked up every blue gem I could find, as they were scarce and I found myself in dire need of healing quite often. The objective is pretty simple: don't kill the boss, but destroy its horns. You'll notice you can either target its head or body, but I wouldn't recommend targeting its head! Getting it to land with ranged magic attacks is much easier when you target the body! Make sure there's no slimes to bother you when it lands, and stay close to your target without rubbing against him. Its magic attacks won't hit you when you're this close. Just stay still as your target turns to face you, until it lowers its head. Now jump up to him and hit him in the face. If you time this just right, you'll damage both the horns and its body. Quickly dash off now, so it won't be able to counter your attacks. Endure this routine for what may seem like an eternity, and you'll eventually break its horns. A Soul Pendant resides within the treasure chest you seek.

Floating Gardens:
Head towards the left side of the single pillar and jump down to a lower platform. If you look to your right now, you'll spot a set of wooden boards which lead across the outskirts of this floating island. Jump across them and you'll reach a hole in the wall. A treasure spawns when you get there. Inside it, you'll find Cane's Staff.

[Sorry for my previous post (which I deleted); I posted it in the wrong guide]

Awesome work here, much appreciated. The hints are pretty damn vague, and the game is very difficult, borderline impossible unless you manage to find at least some of these items. Favourited!! =)

side note about windmill bridge in zephyran ruins, if you wander around too much (the trigger is probably the ramp leading down under the bridge) you won't be able to trigger the secret without reloading the area.

thx for the guide.

I am going to try that later when I play. I would love to farm HP quickly.

I have done enough testing to confirm, without a doubt, that this glitch works for EVERYTHING that is in a secret chest. Rocket Gloves, all the Ferromins, etc.

Also theoretically, this would work for every chest in the game. Including Ferromin/G/R/FX. Happy HP grinding!

I found a glitch here for (theoretically) infinite money, or a quick buck. In Aquan Ruins, do the bridge run, but when you open the chest, be touching the chest and jump at the fire stone with the backscratcher equiped. It should auto-collect, but still not register as the secret objective being completed. Rinse, Repeat, Profit.
