Sensors, Switches and Switch Plates - How To Video v8.6
By EzRyder
i have seen people having trouble getting sensors and switches working and most of the vids i have seen are outdated or show extra steps that may be confusing for some

so i decided to make this bare essentials video guide with the fewest steps needed to make them work correctly
i dont cover how to adjust the 'area' of sensors but you should be able to get them to work before trying to do that anyway

i hope it helps

and have fun playing the game :-)

i also did a short vid on Custom Control Panel Switches, you can find it here

Just a note... the pressure plate/trigger does have to be right side up.

I tried it upside down, moved it around... finally placed it right side up (in place of a foundation block) and it works great. Thanks for the simple info!

i agree, you dont have to use the point at it trick, but it does make it easier to set up the correct door/light w/e since they are likely named the same in the menu, ramps are less a problem since there are generally fewer of them

to clarify i mean, pointing at a device does take you to that specifically (helpful if u have 100s) but for the most part, easy to find thru menu.
