This specific build, while varying depending on character(specifically the wings), is effective throughout the story, and through several of the mid to late game Chasms, only losing its effect at the endgame portion(entirety of chapter 8, as well as post-story Chasms). Use the fashion feature at will-- this set is pretty ugly otherwise.

Anemone weapon is preferred. Increased Damage to enemies on Fire +45%(+30% with Urheim)

Mana Regen per Second Lv.2

This build is based on fire damage, and functions the same no matter which character you use it on.
It gives increased damage 5/5(+12.5%), and 5/5 Inflict Burn on landing [Skill]. It will serve you well on any fight that isn't in chapter 8 story, or endgame Chasms.

Once you reach Chapter 8 in the story, you'll want to switch out your burn set for a raw damage set, as all mobs in chapter 8 have 100% Fire resistance. In that case, use one of the weapons that you can purchase from the High Gear section in the Store. Using the skill listed on the weapon will increase your damage by 30% for 8 seconds. Replace the Anemone Pants with Deathrock's Pants, and the Anemone Coronet with Dark Crystal Coronet. You can keep the Goldion Coronet on, but the increased damage from it will have no effect, so replace it with something else, such as Anemone Coronet.

For this specific setup, you'll want to carve all 6 pieces of equipment with "The Iron Monster's Roar", which can be done after clearing Story Chapter 3-9. You can either farm the materials, which is super grindy and inefficient, or buy it in the shop, which is pretty affordable.

- 6 A Grade Fragments of the Iron Monster (2,880 Gold)
- 3 S Grade Fragments of the Iron Monster (2,880 Gold)
- Total cost: 8,400 Gold

It is important to note that each piece of equipment requires 25,000 Gold to carve this effect into them. You can farm money by doing the first two Chasms: Precursor of Darkness, and Kingdom of Goblin(Goblin preferred). The item gained from both sell for 25,000 gold each, meaning this can be done within 10-20 minutes, or faster if any strong player is present to help you.


The Set Skill effect fires a large beam of Fire, dealing a large amount of damage to all enemies caught in its range. It normally takes 80 seconds to go off cooldown, but with some Runes of Patience, the player can reduce the cooldown with each skill use.

The Mysterious Bird's Rise 5/6 set effect will give you Mana Regen 4/5, allowing you to spam skills due to high mana regen. Pair this set with Hunter's Dream, obtainable from Goblin King to cap Mana Regen at 5/5

How can one obtain this specific set of equipment? Simple, the majority of the equipment can be made through farming the materials in Chasm: Petals in the Mist, which can be accessed after clearing Story Chapter 4-9 with all S ranks.



The player can obtain it between levels 27 to 33, or from Story Chapter 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, or 5-4. 5-3 and 5-4 have the highest chance of dropping the Coronet.


The player can use the "Urheim" weapon, which can be purchased from the shop, or farmed in 3-7, 3-8, and 3-9, though it's better to purchase it since it comes pre-carved.

FOR THE ALTERNATIVE GEAR:

Deathrock's Pants can be obtained as early as 7-3, up to 7-6. Farm whichever map that is easy, though I recommend 7-5 and 7-6, as the drop rate for the pants are increased.

Goldion Belt can be purchased in the High Gears section after completing Chasm: The King's Labyrinth, which is accessible after clearing all of Chapter 6 with an S rank.

The build requires the enemy to have less than 75% Fire Resistance to function properly. All Enemies and Bosses prior to 8-9, and the post-game bosses meet this Criteria, as well as chapter 3-9's boss.

Once an enemy is on fire, this setup will increase damage dealt to the enemy by 45%, which is what the Anemone weapon is necessary for. If the player is running Urheim weapon, the player will only deal 30% damage as opposed to 45%, making Anemone weapon practically mandatory.

The player can check boss resistances by clicking on the exclamation point on the top right of the boss' information window.

This section will cover what skills to use during the story, or any Chasms with basic enemy mobs in it. The idea of these skill sets is to prioritize Launching enemies first, then comboing into it, keeping them in the air, rendering them unable to counterattack. This works on all stage bosses, minus X-9 stages(Chapter bosses).

- Ki Blast (Procs burn status with equipment, Primary DPS)
- Knock Up (Launcher)
- Ki Burst (AoE purposes, knockdown)
- Extended Force (+30% damage for 10 seconds)

Alternatively, Knock Up can be replaced with Earth Shatter. It is incredibly risky if used improperly, due to animation lock, so Knock Up is generally better

- Arjunah's Rain of Death (Procs burn status with equipment, Primary DPS)
- Ramah's Charge (Launcher)
- Arjunah's Scattering Blade (AoE purposes, knockdown)
- Krishna's Will (+40% critical rate for 10 seconds)

Arjunah's Rain of Death has 4 seconds of Animation lock. Wait for an opening before using it on Chapter bosses. On basic mobs, start with Ramah's Charge or Arjunah's Scattering Blade to knock enemies down, leaving them vulnerable to Arjunah's Rain of Death.

- Bonfire (Procs burn status with equipment)
- Frostbite (Zoning, trash mob keepaway)
- Psychokinesis (Launcher)
- Lightning Strike (Zoning, Primary DPS)

Pretty straightforward, as these are Mana's basic skills. The player can replace Frostbite for either Frozen Heart or Laser Rain for differing purposes. Frozen Heart results in solid sustained DPS, and keeps trash mobs in the front away from Mana, while Laser Rain functions as a knockdown.

- Get 'em, Anna! (Damage upkeep, knockback+knockdown)
- Follow me! (Launcher, emergency escape)
- Fire in the Hole! (Procs burn status with equipment, Primary Damage Dealer)
- Out of my way! (High sustained DPS to targets in front, Zoning)

Pretty straightforward as well. Fire in the Hole will be your go-to damage, but the player typically wants to set Out of my way! down before using it(primarily for bosses).

- Earth Slam (Cooldown Cycling, added damage)
- Whirlwind (side DPS, cooldown cycling)
- Holy Hammer (AoE damage)
- Hammer of Fury (AoE damage, procs burn status with Equipment)

Another simple skillset, start with Hammer of Fury, then immediately cast Holy Hammer. The player can continue the attack with Whirlwind, then drop cooldowns with Earth Slam. Bart is really flexible, and can use attacks quite frequently due to innate Mana Regen.

For Rune setups, typically the player will want Rune of Patience on low-cooldown skills, and Rune of Massacre for their Primary Damage skill.

For low cooldown skills (such as Knock Up, Ramah's Charge, Bonfire, Get 'em Anna!), typically the player will use these for cooldown resets. Fill these with 3 of the highest grade of Rune of Patience.

For damaging skills, fill them with the highest grade of Rune of Massacre.

As for Buffs, 2 Hunter Runes and 1 Patience will suffice for all intents and purposes.

These rune setups will only start to become noticable at Grade S, especially at R. SR is definitely mandatory, though, if the player plans to use these skills in Chasm of the Abyss.

This entire guide was written due to numerous threads about people saying stage 7-9 was too difficult. Some have resorted to cheating due to the sudden difficulty spike in stage 7-9, and this guide serves as a way to circumvent that issue.

There are other possible builds that are more viable, and definitely more affordable than this one, but this specific set can be constructed as early as 5-1, whereas other sets designed for Story mode really only outdamage this one in 8-1 to 8-9, and post-game Chasms.
