SOLUTION: Do not skip this cutscene at all. Instead, enjoy Max's voice acting!
Never saw anyone whos got issue with that scene
there should have been two game modes: Story and Action. Story plays like the game plays. Action is just the game's playable sections. no fat, no bullshit, no infinitely-repeating Maxisms of "The last time I hit something that hard it was the bottom of a bottle." "Last night was about two things. one was fighting, and the other I forget because I'm such a drunken trainwreck."
Max Payne shouldn't be about us constantly HEARING about Max's Pain, it should be about us vicariously redeeming it. you want a story, neat. go ahead. but to cut the game into ribbons of nonstop repetition of how much of a wreck he is? blah. replaying it's almost as big a chore as getting through this comment. anyway, thanks for the mod.
