"Greetings, children of the Old World!

This is another friendly reminder from your resident geneticist, Jeanette the Genet, that you are the former Soviet Union's biological chosen ones who shall inhabit the world of tomorrow! You and your familes shall continue all that we have accomplished, which is why we trust that you willl take the upmost care of yourself. After all, that's what makes all of us here special in our own ways!

The threats of the West that were ever present are long past us, but that doesn't mean we can slack off the problems of today. Why it's a brave new world one might say! Radiation, mutants, maybe even a Fascist or two! We must learn how to spot these abnormalties however small they may be--after all, you are all perfect, and we cannot taint the world when it's ripe for you! That's why the new world will be one for Communism!

We must remain ever vigalant in these trying times, so why should we stop to cry when we can make a better tomorrow for us all today? (C'mon, Artyom, I hear you crying over there! Won't you smile for us? That's the spirit!) Someday you too can proudly wear the Soviet Power Armor like Ollie here as a proud Atom Cat! We're all comrades here together, so we must protect our Bunker as our home!

Well, children, I should let you all go back to building tomorrow! Your new guardians will escort you and assign to you your duties and times. Remember: We each alone cannot survive, but together we can! So please do as much as you can today for all of us!

And always remember: Think not what the Fallout will take, think what YOU can do for Mother Russia!

I know, but have you seen the Fallout Three Power Armor?Just put some Red Cloth in that, bam, you've got this!
Still looks nice though.

That wasn't my point; my point was that you can always point to what inspired a game as what something is based on instead of what was the source material used for this artwork.

Yeah, the armor here is a lot less bulky, which makes some sense given ATOM takes place in a prewar 1986. Originality isn't as big of a matter as some people make it out to be.

Ok,so It was only in Wasteland 2 and after.

But the Armor here and in the Concept art looked a lot less bulky, like in Fallout 3.
And today, nearly nobody remembers Wasteland,It's probs still inspired by Fallout.

It exists in-game. The problem is the models in Wasteland 1 are sprites, so the armor is likely just a textual reference before they created it in Wasteland 2.

Wouldn't you Name the Animals Russian Names?Since it's in Russia?

Also, the Power Armor in those Games looked a lot less 'bulky',unlike the Earlier Titles.

I can't find Pics of the Power Armor from Wasteland.

Ohhh...

but the Concept Art you showed me looks like it's from Fallout 3/NV,wich is not actually inspired that much by Wasteland.

From the Fallout Wiki, "Fallout is seen as the 'spiritual successor' to Interplay's classic 1987 CRPG Wasteland. "
