The Su25-T has a DIRCM lamp pointing directly back that works surprisingly well. Most heat seeking missiles launched directly at the rear will likely get blinded by it. Aparently it works 50 to 90% of the times depending on who you want to believe. Engine RPM is arguably more important than orientation, reduce throttle as soon as you realise you're the target of an IR seeker, and if it's coming from the back with the IR jammer active, keep it that way.
