A and D walk left and right on the screen.

S and W will appear when you can walk in/out of a doorway, stairs or ladder.
Didn't seem to matter which button i pressed regardless of what the screen showed.

Space will be your inspect / interact / pickup item or you can click the icon in the right corner.



You can only hold 2 items at a time.

If you have the necessary item when you approach something it can interact with the right corner icon will turn green and you can just do the action using [Spacebar] or click the icon in the right corner.

The only manual activity is when combining two items to create another.

And some items do vanish after being used.. key, faucet handle, coin.



The ghosts can kill you if you are not quick enough.

You can save your game at the light post beside the hospital.


And after the house, beside the well.

Before a ghosts appears you can hear audible "creepy" noises or whistles.

Sometimes you will see them waiting in the shadow for you to linger to long or enter a room.
You can walk past then come back.


Sometimes you can be prepared for an attack as you walk through a door you will catch a glimse of this one waiting to pounce.


Sometimes as you start to interact with an object you will see a silhouette of an arm/hand.
If you stop interacting it will go away.



If you manage to get snagged by a ghost to avoid death it will either be pressing A / D quickly or a series of random keys (Q S W Z D E etc).

3 plays are required for 100% since beating on Hard difficulty does not unlock Easy and Normal achievements.

Walk left towards the hospital door.
Pickup half of the scissors.

Couple steps left to inspect the wall.
Subtract the two numbers. This will be a code for gate inside the hospital.
Example: 590-280. My code is 310.

Go into the hospital.

Pickup second half of the scissors.
Combine by dropping one onto the other.

Walk to the right, use scissors to cut the curtain.

Walk to the locked gate. Use the number you got from the wall.

Go upstairs.
Pickup hoe (tool) at the end of the left hall.
Go outside
To the left, use on the fenced dirt mound.
Drop hoe (tool). You won't need it.
Pickup straightened hangar.

Go left to the bridge.
Use straightened hangar to get the bear in the water.
Drop straightened hangar. But you will be back for it.
Pickup teddy bear.
Use scissors to get a key.

It doesn't matter which item you keep here, you will need to come back to get the other.

So for now, back into the hospital.

Open the door by the reception window.
Notice the magnets on the whiteboard.
A 1 , B 2 , C 3 , D 4 , E 5 , F 6 , G 7 , H 8 , I 9
Example: Mine was CDE7 so my code was 3457.

Pick up the G magnet on the floor.

Go back to the bridge.
Drop the G magnet. You'll pick it up later.
Pickup whichever item you left.
So you have the teddy bear and the straightened hangar.
Go back upstairs in the hospital.

1st door needs a code related to magnets.
Use the code you got from the magnets downstairs.

Use straightened hangar to pull out the handle under the bed.
Drop the straightened hangar. You will come back for it in a minute.
Pickup the handle.
Use the bear to wipe the window. Count the fingers/thumb in each window pane.
If two hands are in one pane that is a single number.

2nd door needs a code related to nameplates.
Examine the nameplates next to the door & count the notches on bottom of each nameplate.

Step right, use the bear to wipe the window. Count the fingers/thumb in each window pane.
Drop the teddy bear. You won't need it.
Step left and pickup the metal piece.
Combine with handle from first room.
You have a nail remover.

Go back to the first room and pickup your straightened hangar.

Go to the bridge outside.
Use nail remover on the boards on the bridge.
Drop the nail remover. You won't need it.
Drop the straightened hangar. You will be back for it.
Pickup the letter G magnet.

Cross the bridge and open the mailbox.
Numbers are fingerprints from the windows. Push the buttons down to choose them.

Pickup skein (a length of thread or yarn, loosely coiled and knotted.).
Combine with the G magnet.
Get a magnet on a string.

Go left to the well.
Use magnet on the string to get a wrench.
That is one amazing kitchen fridge magnet isn't it?

Drop the magnet on the string. Will come back for it.

Go right to the front door.
Break the door/window with the wrench.
Drop the wrench. You will be right back for it.

Go pickup the straightened hangar and scissors from the bridge.

Go back to the house.
Second floor, walk to end of hall.
Straightened hangar lowers attic ladder.
Drop straightened hangar. You won't need it.

Up you go!
Use scissors, get a piece of rope.
Drop scissors. You won't need it.
Pickup wrench head.

Go outside the house.
Drop the rope.
Pickup the wrench.
Combine.
Pickup the rope.

Go back to hospital.
Downstairs, end of the hall. Turn the bolts to remove them.
Drop the wrench. You won't need it.

Back to the well by the house and pickup your magnet on a string.
Back to hospital.
Upstairs.
Use the rope at the window.
Climb out and walk right to the edge.
Use magnet on a string.
Pickup the faucet handle.
Drop the magnet on a string. You won't need it.

Back to the well.
Next to the well, add the faucet handle to the spigot.
Pickup the bowl.
Go left to use it on the boat.
Take note of the letters on the boat.
For me they were L O N
Drop the bowl. You won't need it.

Go to the second floor of the house.
Open the door to the bedroom.
Notice the word on the wall beside you.
Mine were R E P U L S I O N.
Think of them as 1 - 9. You need the # the boat letters are.
So mine for example. L is 5th, O is 8th, N is 9th making my code 589.

Open the door.
Right side, to the bookshelf.
Count the number of books on each shelf.

Go back to the hospital, first floor.
Through the door at the end.
Move the cart using the number of books on each shelf.

Pickup the nail clippers.

Go back to the house, second floor.
Left side, use nail clippers on the safe.
Pickup the bolt cutters.
Drop the nail clippers. You won't need it.

Go downstairs to the kitchen. (Through the dark doorway).
Use bolt cutter to get the crowbar in the cage.
Pickup the crowbar.
Drop the bolt cutters. You won't need it.

Back to the living room, Left side.
Use crowbar on the floorboards.
Pickup the coin.
Drop the crowbar. You won't need it.

Back to the hospital second floor.
On the right, use the coin on the washing machine.
Pickup the screwdriver.
Go left, to the last room.
Use the screwdriver on the fan.
Take the fan blade to the boat.
