Intro

Video tutorial which shows how to unlock hardest achievement "Survival Master".

Your goal:
Earn gold medals on all Survival levels in single player Survival.

Maps

Deep Hole ( 00:45 - 03:50 )

Death from Above ( 03:51 - 07:31 )

Icelander ( 07:32 - 11:12 )

Bear City ( 11:13 - 16:26 )

Green Field ( 16:27 - 24:41 )

Bend on Sand ( 24:43 - 28:31 )

Kleer Base ( 28:32 - 34:44 )

Triple Trouble (DLC) ( 34:52 - 40:11 )

Some advice:
1. Use the third person view.
2. Use hotkeys for every weapon.
3. Change the gamma correction for optimal view.

Deep Hole

Map: Deep Hole
Time for gold: 3:00
Main enemy: Biomechanoid
Difficulty: 1 of 10

Just don`t kill kleers!

Death From Above

Map: Death From Above
Time for gold: 3:30
Main enemy: Pumpkin
Difficulty: 3 of 10

The map is wide and open. You have enough space to move around. Don`t forget to check the sky for Harpies.

Icelander

Map: Icelander
Time for gold: 3:30
Main enemy: Bull
Difficulty: 4 of 10

Use minigun more and don`t forget to take new weapon.

Bear City

Map: Bear City
Time for gold: 5:00
Main enemy: Bull
Difficulty: 5 of 10

You will often need to pick up ammo. Activate the automatic cannons & rockets by shooting the red crosshairs on the walls. However, don`t waste them on weak enemy waves, instead wait until the stronger hoards come. See the video for correct timing.

Bend on Sand

Map: Bend on Sand
Time for gold: 3:00
Main enemy: Reptiloid
Difficulty: 6 of 10

REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED WITH A PATCH. THE INFORMATION IN THE VIDEO IS NO LONGER UP TO DATE!!!

Now you need to survive only 3 minutes. Its not that hard like it was before.
It`s a phased map. The enemies respawn depending on which wave you are fighting against, not randomly. You need to learn what kind of enemies spawn in which waves and how to deal with them. Based on this we can expect 3 phases. Times here:
0:00 - 0:59
1:00 - 1:55
2:00 - 3:00
Make sure to use the right weapons at each phase and don`t waste ammo. You`ll need your minigun fully loaded in the last minute.

Green Field

Map: Green Field
Time for gold: 8:00
Main enemy: kleers
Difficulty: 8 of 10

Although there is a lot of ammo, the enemies attack from every side without ever stopping. The closer you get to gold the more kleers will spawn. Be extremely carefull with them!!!

Kleer Base

Map: Kleer Base
Time for gold: 6:00
Main enemy: KLEERS
Difficulty: 10 of 10

This map is rather luck-based. Here you don`t need a good skill, here you need only one
thing - a lot of luck. Just run around in circles and nothing more. You will most likely need a lot of attempts. Be patient!

Triple Trouble (DLC)

Map: Triple Trouble (DLC)
Time for gold: 5:00
Main enemy: Biomechanoid
Difficulty: 1 of 10

Here`s what you need to know about this map:
- It comes with the Legend of the Beast DLC
- If your only goal is to finish the achievemts in the game then don`t buy it.
- If you have the DLC then you either need to get gold on this level as well or delete\move the DLC files from your game folder.

Easy map for getting gold medal. You have enough ammo.

I miss only incelander and bend of sand. I would ask the developer to decrease the amount of time for gold!

I agees on Muckelchen ratings. Except I'd put icelander a bit on higher difficulty with respect to death from above

In DFA you have alotofspaceto run and let the time progress without being hit

And yeah, I think this guide is not very helpful, also I highly disagree with most of the difficulty ratings for the maps, my ratings:
-Deep Hole 1/10
-Death From Above 8/10
-Icelander 7/10
-Bear City 6/10
-Bend on Sand 10/10
-Green Field 3/10
-Kleer Base 7/10 (but a lot luck-based)
-Triple Trouble 1/10

I am reaaly upset for bend on sand. It is almost impossible to get even 3:00 minutes. Is there a glitch or a trickk to get gold medal? I just need it for achievement!
