I would like to support the request to remove the blue tint from the land tiles: especially in winter, the cold tiles look similar to the water.

The map is designed to be a backdrop to the units and UI of the game itself and this is why it is so faded. I play-tested different colour schemes until I was happy with the soft effect. I wanted the map to be there but not to be the main focus. I hadn't wanted the map to over-power the game at all. So on that score it is WAD - sorry. :)
I'm not sure about the 'Only Online' requirement, sorry. I can't see anything I can do about that from my side. Please let me know if there is a setting I can change that will fix this.
And no, there were no cave areas created. When the map was generated I thought the highland provinces were caves and it wasn't until I was a long way in that I realised they weren't.
