The Mobile Ladder is a diverse peice of mining equipment, designed as either an early-game base or a late game scout. It's major benifit is it's ability to colapse, allowing passage through caverns other vechiles are incapable of getting through. The MK 2's strategic design will also sheild the user when the ladder is in it's collapsed position, and features an additional "roof" to defend delicate machinery from rock falls. Choose an appropriate location to deploy the mobile ladder, which is basically anywhere. Exceptions are high inclinations, where the device may tip over due to it's poor balance while in the stages of being deployed. If this situation should occur, grab the main body of the car with the multitool and middle-mouse click to lock it in an appropriate position.

Once in an appropriate location, detatch the lower mounting plate's rightmost attatchment point, as seen in the picture.

Raise the roof and ladder of the car into a vertical orientation.

Once in a vertical position, lock the lower mounting plate by right clicking the plate where it intercepts with the main body of the vechile.

Detatch the upper mounting plate's rightmost attatchment point.

Raise the roof point into a horizontal position, then middle-mouse click to lock it in it's position.

Lock the upper mounting plate by adding a hinge to where the mounting plate intersects the ladder segment.
