"So, after over 200 days of delays from ordering this back on August 2017 my Mega Sydney mask has finally arrived and I could not be happier.
(Okay I could, but I'm still pretty happy!)

This was a custom commission from the same guy who made my existing Sydney Mask and it fits just as well if not better. (Not sure if name dropping the seller as a form of 'advertising' is allowed within steam forum rules so I'll keep it clean here. If you want his name just pm!) His craftsmanship is top-f***ing notch and while I prefer how clean the paintjob was on the original mask I do like the choppy edge blending on this here Mega variant.

Also turns out injecting clear plastic veins into the cast of a completely different type of plastic is harder work than I gave the poor craftsman credit for so this was a lot more work than just slapping some LEDs inside my existing mask. The first two attempts at injecting the clear either left gaps or did the opposite and put too much tension on the white plastic and cracked it. When the lights are off you can hardly even tell where the veins are, even with touch so its smooth af.

The fuzzy focus of a poorly lit room and an iPhone 7 camera don't do it much justice, the lighting is much brighter than it appears and pierces thorugh the surface a lot clearer with a subtle almost candle-like flicker to it.

I'll be hauling this to Yorkshire Cosplay Con, Wales Comic Con and probably every MCM Comic Con event I can get to here in the UK :v"
