"Almost half a year has passed since both the G.R.U. were nerfed to the ground and Shōjo Shūmatsu Ryokō (or Girls' Last Tour) got it's anime adaptation, but only recently I went ahead and watched it.
... and tbh, I never liked the G.R.U. to begin with.

What are your opinions on the not-at-all-recent nerf to the G.R.U.? I'd like to read your thoughts on the comments, honestly.

mehh gru is still very usefull in post jungle infero but most heavies dont use it... one reason holiday punch you know phlog pyro and pocket counter

I think the GRU were nerfed because it removed one of Heavy's main weaknesses: Speed. I mean, sure; A rapid health drain won't be pretty, but it doesn't hurt to deploy and holster the GRU once a while.
