Status Note:

Sorry guys, as some have pointed out the mod is not currently up to date with CK2 patches and is no longer working as intended. However, in light of the release of CK3 I likely won't be keeping this mod updated any more as my focus will be migrating over to the new game. Your continued interest in the mod is appreciated however and I apologise for the inconvenience

Features:

Enables Gender Laws, Female Heirs and Matrilineal Marriages for Merchant Republics.
Also Female Tribal Rulers can now found Merchant Republics.

Reformed Pagan Religions with the Enatic Clans Doctrine can now pass Enatic / Enatic-Cognatic Succession Laws

Disclaimer:

This mod is not compatible with other mods that effect succession and/or republic government laws and is semi-incompatible with mods that change the minor_titles file (can break the designate heir function). This obviously includes overhaul mods like CK2+ and HIP .

Unfortunately, this mod does not extend the maximum trade-post limit received from male dynasty members to also include female dynasty members - This is due to hardcoded restrictions preventing such a modification (Sorry ladies).

Credit:

CK2 AGoT team, for creating the basic code workaround to make this mod possible (and just for making a kickass mod).

It is broken now. You can design your daughter as heir but somehow it is not recognized by the game and send the message that there is no heir.

@Falling314 I don't know for certain, but I don't think it's an issue of bugs per say. I think it's just a matter of the mod being incompatible with the current CK2 patch

In which case, it should actually just be a simple matter of re-entering the code that the mod changes on top of the new CK2 base files

@Yoshilin Thank you. Do you have any idea of the current bugs, so I can have a place to start looking, or is that something you haven't been able to keep up with?
Yoshilin  [auteur] 30 sep 2021 om 19:18
@Falling314 Yeah man, absolutely. I sort of shifted entirely over to CK3 when it released and haven't really the time or desire do continue supporting this mod. But if you're happy to do so and want to attempt it then absolutely go for it, you have my approval

Hello Yoshilin (and others :)
I was thinking about looking working on this mod (no promises), and was wondering if I could have your blessing to maintain it if I get it going, as well as any known bugs.

Again, no promises even if you say yes, but I will be looking into it.

So is this definitely not working with 3.3? Too bad...

Damn shame I found this mod to late. I found a way to get female patrician leaders in vanilla but its such a dam chore to deal with.

Well I don't know what to tell ya mate. It's a mod, optional user-created content - i.e. you don't have to use it if it offends you, isn't that great. Thing is, I'm struggling to understand how you even found your way to my mod in the first place, if it's not something your interested in and further, why you are still willingly and without solicitation, engaging with it more than 3 months later...?
