I'm not particularly good at this battle either, but I guess it's not as pathetic as my Dalles performance.

Like Dalles, you have to bump into the boss for damage. Offensive magic will not work (I think? I don't think I ever tried.). For this battle, you get to use the Shield magic, which is very helpful. You lose roughly 1 MP per half second, and about 14 MP when you take a hit, but you take no HP damage as long as you have MP.

Darm is knocked back a little bit when he takes a hit, so you can push him out of range if you're not careful. However, there are times where he will NOT be pushed back and you can easily hit him several times without trouble. Hopefully he's not out of reach when that happens. :p

When his health is down to a single bar at roughly 80%, he enters his second phase. He has mostly multihit attacks during that phase, which can absolutely annihilate your shield. I find that it's a bit easier to handle than his first phase, however.

During this battle, I'm equipped with the Elixir, which automatically revives me with full HP and MP upon death. You can buy it for 60k gold in Lance Village, but you can only have one. Since I'm not all that good, I unfortunately have to resort to it to win this battle. Rather shameful, right?

This concludes my Nightmare difficulty run... well, boss run, in the case of the videos I took, since I only recorded bosses. I hope whoever watched them enjoyed it. Note that there's better strategies and/or better execution against all of them, so my videos are not optimal. I made these videos mostly with the hope of showcasing an important part of the game (without making humongously long videos) : bosses.
