Introduction

Welcome to my Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows game guide! I hope that you will find something of value within; some small nugget of information that increases your enjoyment of the game.

I enjoy the hidden-object genre, and I have been playing them from the early days before they included minigames and before every door, closet, cabinet, chest , etc. was locked with some fantastical, and often times frustrating, puzzle. I'm not a fan of certain puzzles, such as the old-fashion tile sliders, but I prefer not to skip puzzles if I can help it as I am a fan of achievements.

Thus when I hit a puzzle that made me want to skip, I decided to consult a game guide! However, I was sadden to find that there were no guides for Dark Angels, so I decided that I would create a guide to help the next gamer looking for a little help. Now I hope I can give you that help.

************** WARNING: This guide contains spoilers! **************

Light Maze
This is not a difficult puzzle, but I try not to assume everyone is good at or likes the same puzzles I do, so for the sake of completeness I will include as much help as I can.

Wrench Tangram
Technically this is not offically a "tangram" as it has too many pieces, but it is the same idea; fitting shapes to form an object. There may be multiple ways to fit the pieces into this puzzle, but here is how I solved it.

Magic Menu
Again, there are so few combination on this "puzzle" that you cannot really mess up, but again I like to be as complete as I can be in a guide. It never hurts to have too much information.

First combination is yellow and green.

Second menu item is revealed with red, yellow and blue.

Third special is displayed only with red, but I think you have to have all colors on first, then turn them off leaving only red. Not 100% positive on that.

Disarming Trap
OK, this is the puzzle that had me randomly clicking all over in frustration even though I knew the answer had to be the same in all four quadrants. Once I approached it logically the answer was fairly simple. In fact I came up with several patterns to solve it. This is the easiest one to capture for a guide.

This is the default setting of the board. You can click the reset button at any time to restore it to this configuration.

Click the same button in each of the four quadrants. The hand cursor indicates the button to press, and the image is after it has already been pressed.

Once again click the same button in all four quadrants, using the images below for where to click.

Lastly, click the center most button to complete the puzzle!

Headquarter's Floor Seal
Using the special glasses you found earlier you can solve this puzzle. The first image is the starting scrambled puzzle, while the second image is what you should end up with.

Mermaid Globe
Another simple one just to give the guide a little heft. The completed image is below.

Candy Cafe Train
Plot your course from point E7 to point A2. You will have to back track a bit, but it is simple. I missed a screenshot but I am not playing the game all over again just to capute it. This is an easy puzzle anyway.

1) Set the tracks so you can advance to the point marked with the "1". Start the train so that it reaches that point. It will stop at the track where it cannot continue up.

2) Change the track so you can get the train to C8, then start it again.

3) Change the track so you can travel straight across to C9.
4) Clear the way to A2 and start the train once more.

Now throttle the actual train up to begin the cutscene.

Dominoes
Place all the dominoes into the box lid matching the shapes and orientation. The pattern I used is shown below (click to enlarge).

The King and I
Select the four items that will allow the king to survive his journey. These items are shown below. Once you select your compliment of items, click the small green arrow underneath to begin your trek.

99 Bottles...
Match the various bottle on the wall to find the orphan. Pretty obvious but I went to all the trouble of labeling them just for you!

Conclusion
When my daughter was younger and she bumped her head, she proudly annouced that she had a "conclusion", meaning "concussion". While I hope you did not hit your head, you have reached the conclusion of this guide.

I thank you for taking the time to check it out. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have. If you like the guide please rate it so I know if I should continue to make guides or save my time for playing instead. Check out my profile for other game guides that you may enjoy. Thanks again.
