I recommend using a controller as using the keyboard is quite hard. Before starting professional on your second playthrough, make sure you know all the controls in the game as the quick turn can be your bestfriend. This is my favorite Resident Evil game, so I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do.

If you want to make this game a little easier, I suggest buying a rocket launcher at every merchant you can for when you get to a boss battle. Almost always will the bosses die in one hit from the rocket launcher.

It Begins With a Ring:
Ring the mysterious bell. What happens after that, is up to you.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chapter 1-1.

Do Not Shoot the Water!:
Summon the master of the lake. Don't rock the boat.
- During chapter 1-3, you will come across a lake with a boat that you must enter to continue through the story. Instead of getting in the boat right away, shoot the lake a few times and Del Lago will come up and kill you. The achievement will unlock once you've died.

A Rock and a Hard Place:
Outmaneuver the rampaging beast, El Gigante.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chaper 2-1.

Secure the Ballistics:
Rescue the president's daughter, Ashley. Afterwards, the real fun begins.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chaper 2-1.

A Bloodline Severed:
Defeat the Village chief in battle.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chapter 2-3.

A Terrifying Assassin:
Turn the tables on Verdugo, the right hand of Salazar.
- This achievement is missable as he can be avoided! During chapter 4-1, Verdugo will appear. When hes close to a liquid nitrogen tank, knock it over and it will freeze him. Now, if you've bought a rocket launcher, which I recommend you do before the chapter, when hes frozen, if you shoot him once with the rocket launcher, he will die immediately. If you don't have a rocket launcher, there plenty of nitrogen tanks around for you to freeze him and unload all your ammo on him.

The Castellan Falls:
Defeat Salazar, and make your escape from the castle.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chapter 4-4.

The Ties That Bind:
Defeat Krauser, your former partner, in battle.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chapter 5-3.

We're Going Home:
Defeat Saddler in battle, and escape from the nightmare.
- This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked during chapter 6-1.

A Heart of Steel:
Clear the game on the highest difficulty.
- The highest difficulty is Professional and is unlocked once you finish the story the first time. I recommend using costume 2 for this as Ashley will have a suit of armor and you never have to worry about her dying or being carried away. A few things that will make this easier is if you buy the chicago typewriter and infinite rocket launcher. However, if you dont, make sure you conserve your ammo as much as you can, knock down enemies and knife them to save ammo. I recommend always buying a rocket launcher at the merchant for boss battles, they will die almost immediately and will save you time and ammo. You get quite a bit of gold, so no need to worry about that. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

What Are They Worth?:
Acquire all of the bottle caps in the game.
- During the game, there will be blue doors with weapons on them, usually near merchants. There are 5 in total, these are the shooting ranges. You dont have to visit all 5, if you enter the last shooting range, you can unlock all of them there. There are a total of 24 bottle caps to collect.

The S Stands for Stylish!!:
Acquire all of the costumes in the game.
- Beating the main game and beating Adas campaign will unlock all the costumes.
