Buy Sentries(if other support bought wards, if not buy wards instead) so you can deward any wards to stop you from pulling.

You want to keep both spells on level 1 and spam lv 1 Nova (when you have 2 levels in aura) on the enemies heros in lane. The low mana cost and added regen will enable you to spam the spells whenever you reach full mana (or need to cast), also helps allies globally for mana.

Always buy wards and carry TP, it saves lives.
Buy drum if a better candidate for urn is on your team.
