INTRODUCTION
WELCOME!
I'll make this guide as concise as possible.

Hello, and welcome to my second published guide here in Steam!

Okay, so I've been looking for some guides for a while that focuses on farming for EXP and money, but I just can't seem to find one here. So I decided to create one.

Everything here is based on my previous playthroughs. If you have some suggestions, or if you think that I've made some mistake, please do post them in the comment section. I would really appreciate it.
REQUIREMENTS
Farming becomes easier on your second playthrough. Before we can proceed, you must first meet these requirements:
  • You must have ★CLEAR DATA. It does not matter which route you took.
  • You and your partner's weapons must be at least 700 or higher
  • You and your partner's clothes must be at least 700 or higher

Current funds

I'm on my fourth playthrough now. I've been abusing this system ever since I discovered it. I was able to rack up 5 million yen a few days ago. If you allot at least an hour of your time farming for money, you'll be able to grab at least 2 or 3 million, depending on how fast you play.
LVL. 999 EQUIPMENT (OPTIONAL)
This part is entirely optional. Still, I recommend that you should have some high-level gears first.

WHY DO I NEED LVL. 999 EQUIPMENT?

We're going to use the Battle Arena to farm for money. And we're going to do this in EASY difficulty.

Do not be fooled, though. Despite being set on the easiest difficulty, the enemies at the Battle Arena deal huge damage, especially starting at rank B. Those below rank B are easy targets. This is why I am requiring you to get at least level 999 equipment. Since you're going to engage in the arena at such a low level, it is only proper that your armor must be at maximum.

In sum, even if your clothes are set to 999, so long as your Base Armor is low, those enemies at B rank and above can tear down your clothes. Also, those at rank B and above have a higher level than you.

It was EASY, they said....

In this screenshot, I'm battling the last group before I move up to S rank. This game difficulty is set at EASY. But since I'm engaging them while still having a low level, they are capable of destroying my equipment.

HOW DO I FIGHT B-RANK ENEMIES AND ABOVE?

One way to defeat them is by using consumable items that increase your EXP ("...learn a bit more in the area"). This typically solves the problem since the +EXP item gives you more EXP as you strip more enemies. I recommend using them when facing B-rank enemies.

Another method is by constantly using the DEFEND button.

If you're completely surrounded, use DEFEND and then execute the UNISON STRIP command. It will give you and your partner some time to recover.

You can also use DEF-boosting items.
FARMING 101: MONEY
To clarifiy, there really is no higher rank than the S rank. However, for purposes of this guide, I shall refer to the unnamed rank as S★.

BATTLE ARENA
Estimated time: 20 minutes or more, excluding Zenya's fight and your travel time to Battle Arena, depending on how fast you play.

Generally, this method should take you only 20 minutes or so. It takes me 30 minutes because I like to strip my enemies instead of destroying their clothes, since it also nets me some small income. Make sure to equip your character with the "Zombie Stalker" walking animation so you can travel faster to the Battle Arena.

This part is easy. First, load up your ★CLEAR DATA and then select EASY. After escaping from Zenya's minions, head out to MOGRA.

Pops will give you your first mission: Train at the Battle Arena. Select a partner of your choosing. It does not matter who, since we're focusing on farming for money here. Equip her with high-level gears and then head out to the arena.

Finish the Main Mission and then talk to Antoinette. Inform her that you wish to participate in battle. You will start at rank F. Clear the three rounds, and then leave the arena. Don't forget to save every after battle, just in case! To gain new enemies at the arena, simply leave the arena and then enter it again. Rinse and repeat until you reach rank S, where you must defeat the last three groups in order to attain rank S★ (the unnamed, unavailable rank).

Aside from getting prize money, you'll also get strip animations as reward. You can sell them as you wish. The total amount you get overall from Battle Arena does not include the loot dropped by enemies (clothes, weapons, shoes, animations, etc.)

Price value of the strip animations

CASH PRIZES AT BATTLE ARENA

Rewards from the Battle Arena are outrageously high when summed up. That is why we're exploiting it.

Take note that rank F is always your starting rank.

TOTAL REWARD: 316,000 yen

That's not all. Aside from the reward money, you shall also receive the strip animations as reward. They sell for a relatively high price.

TOTAL PRICE: 69,000 yen

Battle Arena rewards + Strip animations = 385,000 yen (excluding loot dropped by enemies).

To repeat this process, save the game again (it's just a safety measure) and then head out to Electric Town Exit, head to the station platform and select "Leave Akihabara." Doing this will make you save a new ★CLEAR DATA. You can also rewrite the save file you made if you want to. Load up your new ★CLEAR DATA and repeat everything from the top.

Leave Akihabara forever.

ALTERNATIVE #1: AKIBA RAFFLE TICKET

As a reward for winning the raffle, you will also be granted the nickname "High-Roller"

One alternative to farming at Battle Arena is by trying your luck with the Akiba Raffle Ticket. If you're lucky enough, you'll be able to snag the 100,000 yen reward immediately.

To do this, you must first save the game. Consume any Akiba Raffle Tickets you have until you get 100,000 yen. If you fail, you can always load your previous save and try your luck again.

This is an extremely tiring task and it generally feels unrewarding since you have to reload again and again until you snag the #1 prize. I tried this exploit, but it took me more than 30 tries to get it. Your chances of winning this thing are extremely low. And honestly, it's small compared to what I can get from the Battle Arena. I could have repeated Battle Arena three times already, compared to reloading a save point for a measly 100,000 yen reward.

ALTERNATIVE #2: SIDE MISSIONS

While doing Main Missions, you can also do some Side Missions in order to gain extra income. You can do this if you're aiming to get a specific girl's route.

There are lots of side missions that offer a simple task, such as defeating 1 enemy or a small group of them. They're relatively easy and can be accomplished in a small amount of time. However, there are also side missions that are laborous and require some time and effort to finish.

I would personally advise against doing these Side Missions, as they are very time consuming, even on Easy difficulty:
  • Silent Mode
  • Silent Mode 2
  • Silent Mode 3
  • iDOL dIS@STER
  • iDOL dIS@STER 2
  • Akiba Navigator
  • Sister's Wish
1.iDOL dIS@STER missions require you to beat up 48 enemies each, and both missions grant 4800 yen as reward. Totally not worth it.

2. Silent Mode missions require you to roam around the whole map to search for enemy groups. In terms of practicality, Synthister Hunter missions are much more better.

3. In Akiba Navigator, you're tasked to help an NPC roam around Akiba to buy stuff, and then at the last shop, you must defeat several enemies. It's a waste of time, and the cash reward is small.

4. Sister's WIsh missions are a special case.
a) If you wish to unlock the bonus Sister ending, go ahead and finish these missions.
b) If you simply want to take all of her clothes and get a bonus CG image for your smartphone wallpaper, go ahead and finish these missions, but you must ruin her friendship with her classmates in the final mission. Take note that doing this will ultimately nullify your chance to get the bonus Sister ending.

c) If you have accomplished the two in your previous playthroughs, then there's no need for you to do these missions anymore.
FARMING 101: EXP
Let's get to the good part: farming for EXP. (screenshots to follow)

Based on my previous playthroughs, there are two ways to rack up EXP easily: by taking part in the Battle Arena tournament, and by doing the "Synthister Hunter 2" side mission.

BATTLE ARENA (AGAIN)

Participating in the Battle Arena tournament will actually grant you a lot of EXP. Since your level is low and you're fighting against high-leveled enemies, chain stripping them while under the EXP+ bonus effect will grant you tons of EXP. It's alright to use EXP+ items with 1.1x bonus EXP since it stacks with the bonus EXP you get from. It is worth mentioning that enemies from rank B and above will grant you a lot of EXP, so keep some Latest OS from DSP consumables with you. This item can be purchased at DOSPARA Akihabara Main Store at Junk Street, and it costs 15,000 yen.

Follow these steps:
  • As soon as the first wave of opponents come out, before the battle starts, use any EXP-boosting items ("...learn a bit more in the area" or "...learn A LOT in the area"). I highly recommend using Latest OS from DSP, as it grants a boost of 1.75x EXP.
  • Make sure to use this item as you face the FIRST wave of opponents.
  • Use this item if you're currently on rank B and wish to elevate to rank A. Do the same from rank A and above.
  • Make sure to execute chain strips in order take advantage of the EXP buff granted by the consumable item. The bonus EXP you get from chain strips will stack with the bonus EXP buff from your consumable item.
"SYNTHISTER HUNTER 2" (JUNK STREET)

This method is focused in one area: Junk Street. To do this, you must first purchase Latest OS from DSP at DOSPARA Akihabara Main Store, which is located in Junk Street. This item costs 15,000 yen. It grants a huge boost of 175% EXP, or 1.75x. Activate the item and then proceed with the side mission. Each Synthister you defeat will net you an average of 175 EXP. Take note that the Synthisters you have to defeat are the ones you have to find using the Camera app. Defeating random Synthisters who recognize you as a 'Synthister hunter' are also counted.

"SYNTHISTER HUNTER 2": HOW PROFITABLE AND PRACTICAL IS THIS?

We're going to farm in a very convenient place
  • The EXP-boosting item, the store that sells it, and the NPC for "Synthister Hunter 2" are all located in one area, which is Junk Street.
  • This mission is a repeatable one, meaning that you can do this as many times as you want without limitations.
  • Despite the consumable item's expensive tag price, you will be reimbursed quickly, thanks to the side mission's cash reward.
  • There are no police officers roaming around Junk Street. Thus, it is a safe spot for you to attack as many Synthisters and civilians as you can, without the risk of getting arrested.
EXP-boosting items are not always practical. This principle applies to side missions that require you to beat up a certain number of enemies (Silent Mode, iDOL dIS@STER, etc.). Remember that there are SOME side missions whose enemies will net you a good chunk of EXP.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF EXP CAN I GAIN FROM ONE SYNTHISTER? (WITH LATEST OS FROM DSP)
  • Synthisters without headgears: 101 EXP
  • Synthisters with headgears: 175 EXP
Take note that these values tend to interchange sometimes, but they constantly stay between 101 and 175 as long as you have consumed Latest OS from DSP.

DO EXP-BOOSTING ITEMS STACK?

No, they do not. For instance, if you use Latest OS from DSP (1.75x EXP) and you subsequently use Indie "Doujin" Comic (1.1x EXP), your 1.75x EXP buff will be replaced with the 1.1x EXP buff.

BONUS: MAIN MISSIONS

Huge EXP is also granted by certain Main Missions that involve defeating Synthisters, and especially boss fights involving Zenya at the Battle Arena. Make sure that you have some EXP-boosting items with you before engaging the enemy. These items are best used if the boss also has minions with him or her.

BONUS: SIDE MISSIONS

There are certain side missions that grant huge EXP when you defeat enemies, such as "Uneasy Aura in the Park," wherein each opponent will grant you a whooping 200 EXP, and that's without bonuses from consumable items (plus, it also has a 25,000 yen reward). However, majority of enemies in side missions grant only a small amount of EXP.
