Foreword
Hey you!
Welcome to my "In-Depth Tutorial for new players, the full guide completely"

So before I throw lots of stuff at you I want to say that my tutorial series will be constructed in order to help new players and veteran, play, grow and expand their Avorion knowledge and skills.

I will make initially a mini guide for brand new players to get over the way the game looks and handles.
As a quick start guide.
Afterwards, all of the very detailed in-depth stuff will be going on.

For veterans, I would like to highly encourage you to say something if I say things that are incorrect or outdated in my tutorials. unlike my Evochron series, this game is still in active development and I may need to update things from time to time.

I intend to go over the whole game. And nothing but the whole game. So even for those who are already great at the game, feel free to watch the videos and let me know if everything is accurate to date.

As a side note, none of the videos should be excessively long if they feel too long please alert me to this fact.
So without further ado.

This guide is being written and recorded actively at the moment.
This means that this is not the end of the guide.

It's just merely the current end until more content is added to the guide.
So if you have idea's for more content please feel free to post. And I will keep the idea's in mind.

@DeathTech Everything I wanted to know. Thank you! Might end up starting an alliance so I can teach my kids what it means to play RPG's. They are still young, so why not teach them how to thoroughly enjoying games. As for my space station, I just wanted to build one. I like the thought of having to treat them like a ship in regards to crew, leaves a lot of room for, well, just about anything the mind wants really. But as of now, I'm just wanting one for cosmetics. I'll eventually work up to the point where I will start microing them, but I have a few ideas for looks, and I want to build one just to build it. If nothing else I can have it protect the craft I don't use. I love making fleets of all types, and playing them all depending on what I want to do.

@Unome10 At the moment if you start a new alliance you have to spawn a ship designated as an "Alliance Ship" in order to be "acting as a member of the alliance". Being part of an alliance has few differences if not acting as an alliance player.
If you like kicking up a storm you could always use alliances as shells for when you want to pirate. But for single-player there isn't a too great reason to be in one.

When it comes to building space stations I am still working on getting all the experience doing that. But from what I can tell it's like having a ship that doesn't move and can make things for you. Though it still requires resources to build and crew to manage it.

Video's on those topics are coming soon.
Just decided to slow down my roll a little as I don't want to be spamming too many updates. ;)

Do you have any information on building and maintain space stations, or starting an alliance in single player? If I were to start one, would I notice any difference from playing with out starting one?

@Photrick sadly research stations are spawned randomly just like most stations.
Although if you have hapened to pass one in the past you can use the map to locate it with the search bar at the top left.

The locations will become hightlighted as you type Research into the search bar.
I hope this helps.

For most, I guess they will already know about most of the content. But then again.
It's a full tutorial so anyone playing the game for more than 10 minutes will encounter stuff they already knew.

But still guys!
ENJOY! :3

Thanks. Actually, they DO look a lot like pipes! Even the concept makes sense, being resources used for construction.

Cheers!

@TheMagicHobo76
Thanks for your kind words. I hope that I can keep the rest of the video's regarding this game to an equal standard. And I am pleased to hear you apreciate the work.

Thanks for the tidbit as well. I was not sure how to refference it to me they looked like pipes. :3.
Enjoy Avorion and have a pleasant day.

Hey, I for one very much appreciate this guide, the videos, and the work you're putting into it.

Further, great job with that first vid! Though I'd like to quickly mention: I do believe the icon for the resource depots are stacked ingots/metal bars, not specifically pipes. If that tidbit helps in any way shape or form, cool. if not, no worries.

Have a great one.
