The first baby step of being liked by many? Screencapping an item!
It can be anything! From a gibus to a f**king factory new miami element war paint.
Keep in mind that these screenshots are, again, baby steps.
Usually these will get you around 2-35 likes per photo.
Depending on popularity, of course. Hey, it's better than nothing!

The scoreboard is a powerful way of stating your skill over another. Prove to everyone that you're better than the world by posting a screenshot of the scoreboard! Include all 7 of your Medic girlfriends! Even you over there, "xX_pRoSNIPEZ_Xx", in the lime paint! You can do this too!
Keep in mind, the higher you are on the board, the higher amount of likes you get.
These types of screenshots will at least get you 7-55 Likes.
Keep in mind that you have to not suck total sh*t at TF2 in order to get these kinds of screenshots. That's why you hire medics. :wink:

Showcasing your taunts proves to the world how hip and cool you are, and that you aren't like the rest of the filthy peasants that play TF2! You're the lime-stained snowflake of the entire community, and you're gonna show it with pride!
Now, this is a difficult screenshot type to do. Simply because noone's interested in the yellow! You gotta get the purples! Meaning that you have to be a high roller. The more unusual taunts you have, the more people will like you! So go ahead and take out mommy's credit card. I'm sure buying 200 keys won't overdraw her account or anything.
These screenshots will get you 15-30 likes.

Now. Let's get real here. Every human being on the PLANET is attracted by shiny and glowing objects. So we look at them.. inspect them.. maybe, y'know, jossle it around a little bit.. give it a shake.. But most importantly: We admire it for what it is.. for being special. And TF2 replicates this interest perfectly! Now, this is kind of the same difficulty of Taunt-shots, because you have to be a high roller. Nobody's gonna look at your crap, bland hats. You have to make it green. Make it sparkly, too! ADD DUCKS! THERE'S A WHOLE BUNCHA EFFECTS THAT ARE SHINY!... And, what does the human do when they see a shiny object? They Look. Then they admire your loadout for what it is.. And they like it.. That's the beauty of this type of screenshot.

Depending on popularity, this type of screenshot will get you around 10-120+ Likes. It depends on effects and hats.

A last resort for when all things sh*t the bed. You drop your entire steam account's persona, and transmogrify it into a demonic latex being that knows only that of happiness and sunshine. This isn't difficult to do at all. You simply need to have:

• Brutal Bouffant (Pink/Yellow/Lime/Orange)
  
• Pyromancer's Mask (Unpainted/P/Y/L/O)
  
• (Optional) Sight for Sore Eyes
  
• (Optional) The Lollichop Licker or whatever the f**k it's called (Has to be bright pink or team colored, or it's apparently not cute.)

And there you go. Immediate Fempyro OC. Now, the people that unfriend you from this point onwards cannot see you for who you truly are, deep down inside. They cannot even grasp the being of it. Thus, they leave you. You'll gain new friends though, don't worry!
Now, I know what you're thinking.

It's how the fempyro is "modelled", so to say, that will grant you likes.
Normal - 10-50 Likes
HQ/Updated - 20-75 Likes
"( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" - 50-270 Likes

You should know what the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) means. Steam will slap me if I say the word.

To add onto the likes, Create a tumblr. Every OC has one. As of January 18, Tumblr has nuked all "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" users, making 8==m=D~ disappear. However, you can still create a Twitter, Pixiv, or a Newgrounds account to make up for this.

Something about chinese letters really attracts people into liking it. I don't even know how they do it. It just happens. Now, to get chinese letters, you must set TF2's language to, of course, chinese, through the SToAM options menu. Once you do this, you're free to have TF2's chinese letters revealed.
I've theorized that people from china are actually better at TF2 than americans, so that's why they get more likes; their skill level. With that said, I reccomend using chinese letters with Scoreboard/Shiny Hats screenshots.
Now, the chinese letters apply to all of the above. Even chinese fempyro OCs. ugh

The amount of likes you get from the China Effect is entirely random, but it ranges from 10-45.

A funny thing always gets our sides going. Like, for instance, someone falling over in a game or real life. It's funny! Why? Well, c'mon.. they just suddenly flopped on the floor and screamed. It's hilarious. Sadly, you cannot save these images in your mind forever... That's where TF2 comes in.
Unlike in real life, your F5 button can save that funny image in your mind and soul Forever! The best part is, this one's super easy to do, since TF2's ragdolls are extraordinarily silly. However, by looking to the mod community, you can make them sillier! The sillier they are, the more likes you get.

These types of screenshots will grant you a seemingly random number of likes, but they usually get 20-700.

Oh, and if you're looking to make your ragdolls silly, here's some mods to help you with that.

Now, you have mum's credit card... but you don't know what to do with it! Well, it's quite simple, I say! Just go out and spend a whopping $1500 on Tickets! Then go out and spend another $542.95 for the hats, so you don't get immediately kicked. For this one, you're going to have to be a high roller. But the results are super delicious.
Doing all these tours, you'll eventually get an aussie. At this point, you spam F5 to not miss the timing, and stop at your leisure. Now, the more edgy the caption is, the more likes it gets. Be warned, though. Once you get an aussie from a tour, you have a chance of reaching Stage 3 of the MVM Syndrome. Soon...

Ones that aren't very common, but when shot correctly, provide you with a quick like-grab. These are all community submitted, and they will be credited as such. With them being tiny, however, I have no way of counting the likes you'll get. So, i'll go on a limb here and say that You'll probably get a rough 10-60 likes on these ones.. Again, I'm not too wary of these, so i'll update the #s when I get the chance.
